When running mystic force through a circle, it creates a smooth pathway for the force to generate pure mystic energy from raw mystic power. But the star, instead, runs the mystic force violently into each and every corner of the star, using that force to facilitate the generation of mystic energy.
It's vastly inefficient compared to the normal circle method, but it excels in one thing—the mystic force generated through this method is much more violent than usual. In practice, it doesn't mean much, but the constant push one has to make could lead directly to advancement.
