GREEDY AND BASTARDS
CHAPTER I: THE BEGINNING OF THE CHAOS
June 1, 2028, Amsterdam
It was a lovely night on Christmas Eve. Many people are cheering for Christmas in the city and other places. Reporters who are on their job join and play with the kids.
Suddenly, A big red portal from above rips open in the sky. And the entire sky suddenly turns red. No one notices it at first because the streets are full of bright light, making it unnoticeable. Until bodies started to fall from the sky. People start freaking out.
It was shocking. The city is filled with the noise of horrible screeches and screams. Everyone is scared and tries to run to their houses, but it is too late. Suddenly thousands of SCPs 939 and other unknown anomalies started to come out from the portal and attack everybody, it was a brutal night.
At the same time suddenly a tall woman with a fox tail her behind comes out from the portal with lots of troops wearing gas masks, the troops start shooting Every single person.
The lady suddenly speaks: "ERADICATE THEM ALL!".
Meanwhile in Los Angeles, United States.
It was a beautiful night. 05-1 and the Director's Assistant is walking through the crossroad Children can be seen playing, until one of them bumps into 05-1 and falls.
05-1 helps the kid to stand up
"You okay kid?" 05-1 said
"I'm... fine sir, thank you... and also... merry Christmas... sir" the kid says with a nervous voice. The kid walks away.
"05-1, I think that kid is scared of you, I'm guessing because you look like one hell of an Italian mafia with that hat!"
"piss off! It's just my hat, nothing else" 05-1 replied
"Also, what restaurant do you want us to go to?"
"What do you want?"
"...Hotpot restaurant?"
"Sure then, let's go warm ourselves on this cold night" The Assistant nods
"Agreed". 05-1 looks to the sky and the tall skyscraper. He then looks to the Assistant.
"Also... Where is Shadow after that incident?"
"I don't know, probably left for his hometown in Japan I guess..."
"I see, well let him rest until his mental health is back to normal"
"yeah... also God this temperature is giving me some frostbites"
"I don't know, the news said it was -5 Celicius"
"Jesus, I can just pass out in this type of temperature!"
"that weak?"
"Shut up, I still have my experiences as an MTF Lone Wolf"
"yeah right, we should arrive in any minutes now"
"oh I forgot, this is a gift from me to you 05-1, thanks for the help before"
The assistant gives a box to 05-1, it looks like a box of cigars
"Hmm... what is this?" 05-1 asked
"The thing you told me to get you" the Assistant replies
"Ah I see, thank you then, Assistant"
"no problem, also... you can call me Joshua Wolf, come on let's get inside"
OSAKA, JAPAN
Shadow is walking to his family grave with a bucket full of flowers in his hand.
"I'm back, Father, Mother, big sister Kiana, big brother Hideoki"
"I miss all of you after that incident 10 years ago, but I still hope at least two of you are still alive..."
He took a moment and pondered at the graves, before spreading the flowers from the bucket to their graves. And stands up
"goodbye, until next time everyone..."
Shadow leaves the graveyard and returns to his home, but what he doesn't know is that someone is spying on him.
Shadow stops at a local supermarket to buy himself a meal to eat.
He goes to the noodles section and picks his favorite ramen cup and some other stuff.
He left the store and immediately went back to his home. But when he was about to enter his home, he saw a Zori in front of his door. He feels threatened. He slowly enters his home.
He then saw someone cooking in the kitchen. Surprised, he drops all the stuff he bought from the supermarket. It's a person who he has never expected to see with his eyes. The person turns around and sees him standing like a statue and says
"Welcome home! Haruto-chan"
It was her big sister, Kiana.
"si-sis? Ho-how, is... is this an illusion?"
"No, Haruto-chan baka! it's your sister of course:<"
"I ca... I can't say anything about this but... but I... I am glad you are still alive sis!"
Kiana immediately hugs her little brother
"who misses her big sister?".
Shadow lays his head down on her sister's chest while Kiana brushes Shadow's hair.
"already a grown huh?"
"ye-yes sis, I... I didn't expect you to survive that slaughter, where are you when it ends...?"
"I managed to escape and was found by some tourist, and they brought me in as their child"
"why didn't you tell me? If I knew you were still alive, I wouldn't have made your grave!"
"it's a surprise, if not then you will never grow up"
"stu-stupid baka sister" Shadow's face is blushing
"What did you just call me, Shadow?!" her sister immediately becomes scared and makes shadow scared
"no... nothing sis"
"well never mind, get your clothes changed, I already cooked lunch for the both of us"
"Okay sis"
Shadow went to his bedroom to change his clothes while Kiana was preparing lunch.
At the table.
Shadow went and sat on the floor, Shadow ate her sister's homemade food, it tasted good but a bit bitter.
"so, how's my food Haruto-chan? Is it good?"
"it's good... but a bit bitter sis"
"Bitter?!"
Kiana immediately took a sip, it was true... the soup was kinda bitter.
"I should be more careful next time..."
"at least you did make a meal for us sis, much better than the food you made 10 years ago, which almost poisoned me and big brother Hideoki"
Kiana approaches him
"Could you repeat it, shadow?" Kiana said with an irritated face.
"ru-run! Big sister Is angry!"
Shadow runs to his bedroom and Kiana follows him from behind. Shadow closed the door tight and locked it from inside.
"Open this door or I'll break it open!" Kiana shouts, knocking on the door, louder and louder with tempo.
"no way!" Shadow laughs it out. They both continued to fight each other.
Meanwhile, Antarctica, GOC base
"Sir, the temperature is decreasing significantly with each passing minute, and is now sitting at -50°C, sir"
A GOC technician informs his supervisor
"Until when this blizzard ends, this type of cold can kill us"
"luckily our heaters are still working..."
"yeah sir but why are we stationed here?" The technician asks.
"to check for any potential threats"
Suddenly, a portal opens up outside their base, and around 50-100 unknown people jump out from the portal armed with firearms. Immediately they breach the door base with a Benelli 4 shotgun.
"Wha-what the!?"
All GOC operators get mowed down and slaughtered on the scene, gunshots echo inside the base. Everyone inside the base scrams around, unable to defend themselves from the enemy. Completely vulnerable with no firearm at hand. It was a complete bloodbath.
"Objective is clear madam, extracting from the area"
"Good, take all of their documents and files, and leave the site as soon as possible"
"Understood, Madam"
They left immediately after. Took everything they saw useful and left with the portal.
PARIS, FRANCE
In the cold dark night. Hundreds of Dutch people take refuge in France, seeking a safe place until the chaos declines. But something else is watching from the shadow of the night.
"What foolish humans they are, searching place for shelter, may Scarlet King lead the way to the victory era"

In just seconds, thousands of Serpent Hands soldier wearing magic capes come out from the dark sky and release thousands of anomalies with their portal ability.
"SHOW THEM WHAT ARE WE CAPABLE OF! DESTROY THEM LIKE THEY DID TO US IN THE DARK AGE!"
In just a second, Paris turns into a bloody night, killing the people and the refugees but it does not end there In just a few minutes the city falls into the serpent's hands.
COAST SEA, UNITED KINGDOM
The GOC intelligence are watching what happened in Europe, this leaves them in total disbelief. The Serpent Hand was able to take over 2 countries in just a single day.
"pronto, pronto, can you read me over"
"loud and clear, what do you see?"
"Netherland and France are falling to the Serpent Hands' control, over"
"This is not what I've ever expected to happen, keep observing, I will contact our leader"

The SCP intelligence gathered info and contacted the CIA themselves under the command of Secretary Number 831.
"Slowly... Europe will fall, and this will mark a disastrous event point in history" one of the chairmen muttered.
"This is bad, our agents are still In Paris and Berlin, evacuate them as soon as possible" one of them uttered.
Suddenly, a director from South East Asia, "Abdul Budiawan", spoke out.
"no, no need to evacuate them, let them die"
Everyone was bewildered by the Director's words, the operator stood up.
"Sir!, What are you thinking, we have to evacuate them!" The operator insisted.
"do I look like I care about them? I only care about the money I take from your salary, you can't do anything to stop me, go on!"
All operators are in total shock and disbelief, they never expected anything like this. In everyone's mind, they all have the urge to kill this man but are unable to. Or else they all get themselves killed.
"fi-fine, abort to evacuate..." One of the operators responds.
"Good, go on. I want to enjoy my time with my slut"
As the director leaves the room. Everyone is filled with anger in mind, and disappointment and has the urge to murder that man.
"that son of a bitch! The fuck is wrong with him?!".
One operator got an idea passed to his mind
"How about... how about we all, resign from our job?"
It was an interesting idea, and everybody looked at the operator
"Everyone? Who agrees with me?"
"yeah!" the other responded,
"let's leave GOC and JOIN THE HFC!"
"YEAH!!!!"
That Director's words cause a bunch of GOC personnel to resign from their job and want to join the rival organization, HFC.
Meanwhile, the GOC southeast Asian directors is taking a rest from their jobs they meant in other words, hundreds of GOC specialist operators have resigned from their jobs and turned their attention to HFC.
This is also a benefit for HFC that every person doesn't know what kinds of organizations they are that were always the immortal rival for the GOC.

Berlin, Germany
"This beautiful night, what I love but this night will soon turn into a pool of blood"
The lady pulls out a katana, which casts a mysterious magic effect in every direction.

Immediately thousands of serpent hands specialists throw mustard gas at the crowd and cause havoc killing all of them.
