CHAPTER IV "DECAYING WINTER"

Some GOC agents have been deployed to the fort helping the Spanish police officers and military personnel to board the remaining refugees to the ship.
With the operations code name "FAST RESCUE", under the secretary general of GOC and the US forces.
"Man… how long will this end…!", a GOC agent complained about this situation.
A US marine approached him, "No idea… But there's more where they come from…".
As they both converse with each other. Snowflakes started to fall on his head and hand. The marine looked up at the sky and saw what seemed to be snow.
"What the…? What month is it now…!?" the GOC agent asked the US marine.
"July, but snow in this kind of month is a bad sign".
"I will call my superior" the GOC agent replied the US marine left the harbor fort in a flash.

Every Ptolemy Division branch researcher stepped to their 'puters as soon as they got the word about this strange weather occurrence.
"Get your documents and get your ass back to your stations!" The head of the researchers Park Jin Seok yells at all of the researchers who are just for some reason… drunk in their offices.
"Park Jin sir, we've found anomalous weather reports around the globe and a significant drop in temperature across the globe. It looks like the world is… about to climb down back to the ice age… …sir…!" a researcher spoke.
"…!" The head, Park Jin looked at the person with astonishment, "Report this and write everything about it on the reports and documents, I will report this to the Director's Assistant"
"Roger sir. We will write it right away" The researcher swiftly pulled out his laptop and wrote down the report.
The head researcher Park Jin Seok, walks into Joshua's office.
"Sir, I come to report", Jin Seok said
"What is it…?", Joshua looked at Jin, he was drinking a hot chocolate beverage while looking outside the window.
"The weather right now is kinda messed up sir. It's snowing in July when it's usually summer hot".
Joshua looked at Jin, "Interesting…", Joshua rubbed his chin and nodded, "any paranormal activity or anomaly detected?"
"Not yet sir, but we assume that the Serpent Hand had used some sort of anomaly to change the world's weather down to the minus, sir. Should we broadcast this news to the world, sir?"
"Affirmative, broadcast this to as many news officials you can reach, but we also might need to share this with the US government about it and let them take the media from here…" Joshua added.
"Alright then sir, I take my leave then" the head researcher Park Jin Seok left the room.
"God… what will happen to the world huh?"
News reporters are reporting about the prior news about the peculiar and strange weather in London. Even with thick clothing and a jacket, the cold still couldn't be held back.
"Here in London, the sudden shift of the weather's temperature from summer to winter causes streets to go frozen solid. The situation right now is complicated even the international research group is still struggling with it, we still don't know what could have caused this weird behavior in the weather. But we need to stay at home until the conditions are back to normal" A reporter broadcasted.
"San Sebastian harbors are now still struggling with this sudden change of the weather, that halts plenty of ships, disabling them to go in or out. Crops and food resources now become more expensive because of the weather" The reporter added.

"So, we got the blueprint, huh?" The leader asks the HFC representative.
"Yes sir, we got the blueprint, should we make something with it?" the HFC representative responds.
"Yes, send this to our research departments, and because we have more manpower now, we can form our secret weapons into reality faster"
"Yes sir, I will send it to the research departments".
"Also, how are our food stocks " the leader asks.
"Enough to keep us full till the next decades, sir" The HFC representative replies.
"Good, good, we're lucky we cooperated with China and all of North Asia".
"We will begin the development of our new weapon right away, and I want you to take care of those people who want to betray the organizations, give them punishments until they beg to death"
"Oh you will sir, I will bring those people's heads into your desk, sir!"

The Serpent Hands pushed the ROASDF out of their lands, they kept fighting but to no avail, the Serpent Hands used dirty tricks and fooled them all. At that time the Port of Haifa was crowded with many Arcana Citizens getting onto the ship, it was lucky the Mediterranean Sea was not frozen.
"Is everyone on board!?" the captain asks.
"Almost, but we need to hurry, we can't hold these lines of defense any longer" the ROASDF captain replies.
"Our men cannot hold any longer, they almost broke the ROASDF line's defense" the ROASDF sergeant replied after the ROASDF captain spoke.
"Hold on for a few more minutes, after that, you all can enter the ship" the ship carrier captain asked the ROASDF soldiers to hold more.
"Alright, we will hold them a few more minutes" the ROASDF captain reply
"All soldiers, defend this place for a few more minutes! ROASDF sergeant let out a war cry.
"FOR THE SACRED AND HOLY LANDS!"
All ROASDF soldiers shouted back and held their position at all costs. The sense of brotherhood made them all resilient, and they maintained their position until the end.
The serpent's hand struggles to fight them but eventually manages to break the lines of defense after all Israel and Palestine escape from the lands.
"tch, we didn't get a new subject but I believe this corpse will be useful isn't Mr. Necromancer?"
"of course", a man in a black hoodie smiles psychotically at all ROASDF corpses.

All refuges near Denmark and Norway are struggling in the extreme blizzard when all of a sudden an unknown marine icebreaker ship is detected on both Norway and Denmark's ports.
"all of you, get in the ship, we will bring you to the US"
A civilian asks the soldiers on the icebreaker ship, "Who are you, may I know you, sir?"
"I'm Joseph, a GRU-P officer, get the ship, we will bring you to the US port, we've detected plenty of Serpent's Hands are still in this area"
After that, all Denmark and Norway people got onto the ship and were brought to the port of Buffalo New York.
"Why are you helping us, sir Joseph?" a child asks the officers
"Why not, we are not the enemy and it's the sense of humanity that unites us" The officer patted the boy's head and handed over a winter sweater and a beanie.
"You see, even if we are different, we are still the same people who just get separated by country and race" the officer pats the boy's shoulder.
"Tha-thank you sir" the child replied with a sweet smile after receiving the winter sweater and hat.
"no problem" the officer replies with a smile at the child
The child got called by their parents and the child waved at the officer and the officer waved back to the child.
"Well, we still have a job to do… eh?" the officer said to his soldiers
"yes sir, we still have to rescue those people who got stuck in this blizzard"
"Alright, let's get back to work then?"

People around the world decided to stay at home and work from home because the conditions are not family-friendly.
GRU-P (GRU Division Psychotronics/ ГРУ, Отдел 'П)
Known as the Main Intelligence Directorate, Division Psychotronics more known simply as GRU Division Psychotronics or GRU Division "P", is the paranormal branch of the Soviet GRU dedicated to containment, research, and application of the anomalous for the benefit of the Soviet Union.

After the collapse, they went missing but somehow reappeared at the beginning of 2029. It's still unknown if they are independent or under the Russian Government patrolling around the black sea water and coast near Norway and Denmark, they use an icebreaker ship to transport millions of people from Europe to America during the extreme blizzard.
A ship that contains millions of people in the Atlantic Ocean got stuck because of the ice.
"Is there any help coming?" the captain of the ship asked his sailor.
"No, we haven't received any help until now sir, we are in the middle of the ocean. Using land vehicles will take a while sir and it's not gonna be possible with this extreme blizzard"
"sh-shit" the captain's breath starts to get slower because of the extreme cold, "This frostbite is taking a toll on my mind…!"
Thousands of civilians under the hull were given blankets and jackets to warm themselves from the temperature. The intense chill managed to freeze up the air around it, even with overclocking engines couldn't even warm the air.
The sailors were busy dealing with minor setbacks all across the boat when one of them saw a silhouette of what appeared to be another ship coming towards them.
"Sir! There's a ship coming sir! It'd probably be the icebreaker ships sir!" One of the crew members shouted to the captain's deck
the captains slowly speak out his words as his breath is taken away by the cold.
"Shoot the flare gun…!"
The sailors on the ship shot a flare gun to give the icebreaker ships their locations.
The icebreaker ship holds in front of the ship, dropping many of GRU-P Spetnaz soldiers coming to the ship bringing hot water and all stuff to hold on to the cold.
One of the GRU-P soldiers walks to one of the sailors.
"Who are the captains of this ship?" The soldier asks the crew member. The sailors pointed at the captain who was now fainted.
"He's knocked out cold! Someone take care of the captain! bring him some hot chocolate or whatever, do as what I say!" The soldier shouted to the other, asking for help
"I thank you, sir! What could we have been into if it weren't for you? The sailor thanks the soldier.
"Well we must keep you all safe and sound, now we will take your ship to New York, to a safer place"
"Thanks, sir!"
Some soldiers return to the icebreaker while some stay at the civilian ships and the icebreaker ship starts to move. Mowing the ice for the civilian ship to follow them.
