The moment Myles stepped inside the fog, he realized that the fog was so thick that he was unable to look at his surroundings.
Only the white smoke covered his entire vision for a certain period of time. Thankfully, it did last for long as the fog began to decrease soon. After the fog cleared up enough for him to see his surroundings. He found himself standing in front of a jungle filled with greenery to the brim.
There were only trees, plants and grass. So far there was no trace of any beast.
As for fog was still there, it was just that it had decreased to an extent that his surroundings had become visible.
However, there was something that caused him to frown slightly.
"What kind of pressure is this?" Myles thought to himself.
The pressure was weird, it didn't feel like the pressure was acting on his body.
It felt like the pressure was acting on his head that made him feel like his head was being crushed. It didn't take a genius to figure out who was behind it.
"This is probably caused by the fog" Myles thought to himself.
Afterall, the strangest thing about the forest was the fog! So it was the main suspect about this pressure!
"Let's head deeper" Myles thought to himself.
With that being said, Myles began to slowly make his way deeper into the forest. He kept an eye on his surroundings as he moved deeper into the forest.
What surprised him was that as he was moving deeper into the forest. The pressure acting on him slowly but surely increased!
"This might become a problem very soon" Myles thought to himself.
The pressure acting on his body wasn't too great right now but he knew that it might change in the near future. Since he was unaware of how much distance that he must travel in order to reach his destination.
"It might become unbearable very soon," Mylyes muttered under his breath.
However Myles had no choice but to near with the increasing pressure. Since he had to move forward to reach his destination.
Hence, he started to move forward by ignoring the pressure like they didn't even exist in the first place.
With each step, the pressure acting on the head increased. It wasn't much when he covered a short distance. However, it's power became a lot more apparent when he covered large distance.
However, with gritted teeth Myles continued to walk forward without any signs of stopping anytime soon.
Half an hour had passed away in the blink of an eye.
Although Myles was still steadily moving forward, his speed had dropped down significantly. Why you may ask? It was because the pressure acting on his mind had increased tremendously.
It was as if two large boulder were weighting down on his mortal bodies!! If it weren't for the fact that the orb was glowing brighter as he traveled in this direction. He would have turned around asn leave long ago!!!!
"I am on the right track. I need to keep moving forward" Myles muttered under his breath.
Although, he wanted to turn away and leave in the face of such a pressure. He knew that he need bear in order to complete this mission.
Afterall, the trials hadn't even started to yet so he could falter before it. At most, this will be one of the trails but who knew how many trails he had to face. Hence he needed to remain strong.
With sheer willpower and determination, Myself continued to move further. Just a few minutes later, the tall trees and the dense vegetation finally came to an end.
He spotted something difference for once.
"What is this?"
An open field laid in front of Myles. What made the field special was that hundreds if not thousands of sword were stuck to the ground!!
Wherever he looked, he saw nothing else apart from swords. Some swords were broken while some like looked like they were new.
"It looks like a graveyard of swords" Myles thought to himself.
He still hadn't took a step inside. Hence, he took a deep breath and stepped inside. The moment, he stepped inside the the graveyard a notification flashed in his retina.
(You have entered sword paradise)
(The spirits of the swords and their master are looking at you eagerly.)
Myles frowned a bit at the second notification but he shook his head.
"Let's keep exploring the place" Myles thought to himself.
With that being said, Myles began to explore the surrounding. Just a few minutes of looking around later, he spotted a large sword in the distance.
The sword was stuck on a very rock which made this sword at the tallest height among all other sword.
A reddish Golden line ran from the top of the sword to the center of it's handle. The handle was made up of of golden material with a golden gem embroidered onto his handle.
As for the blade, it looked sharp enough to cut a mountain in half.
"The sword looks quite intimidating" Myself thought to himself.
He was just about to leave but at that moment, the blue orb started to glow like never before. It released such a radiant light that he had diffculty seeing.
Along with the light, he felt a suction force acting on the orb. It was as if someone was trying to snatch the orb from his hand!!
He tried his best to hold onto the orb but in the end he failed. The orb escaped from his hand and flew towards the sword!
"What the hell is happening!!" Myles exclaimed, his vision carrying seriousness.
The orb ignored his cries like he didn't exit in the first place. It kept flying only stopping when it was a few dozen centimeters above the sword!
Just a mere second later, a burst of powerful golden aura erupted from the sword directly slamming into the orb.
"So powerful"
The orb changed color upon collision. It started to release a golden light upon collision.
In response, all the sword around him released a aura of submission and respond around him. It was as if they were greeting their lord. Among their midist, Myles also felt like a subject in the presence of their lord.
"What is the meaning of this? Am in trouble or is this the part of the mission" Myles thought to himself.
Thankfully, he won't have to wait for too long for his answer. Just a few seconds later thick fog began to gather around him before he had time to react at an incredible speed.
Giving Myles no time to react!! The pressure on Myles increased by 200 hundreds times. He was in the blink of collapsing to the ground but his mind began to race to avoid this fate. But he soon made realization it was impossible.
Since he was unable to even move his limbs!!
"Damn it!!" Myself cursed.
Before Myles lost consciousness, a voice echoed through his surroundings.
"The trials will begin now, I wish you best of luck child" A voice with profound authority echoed throughout the surrounding.
