Myles slowly walked towards the gate while maintaining a confident demeanor and arrogance. A sense of superiority also leaked out from his body itself.
Having a confident demeanor was a must for him otherwise, he might get caught.
When the guard noticed his pressure, their attention was pretty much drawn towards him. A frown formed on their forehead as they saw him approach with an arrogant demeanor.
"Why do I feel like that guy is looking down on us?" One of the guards couldn't help but ask.
"It's because he is," Another guard replied.
"We need to teach him a lesson for looking down on us," Another guard replied.
The others nodded their heads in approval upon hearing this well apart from a single guard. The guard was staring at his armor since he felt like there was something special about it.
It only took him a few seconds for him to determine what was special about the armor.
"This guy is from the core part of the kingdom!!" A guard exclaimed his voice carrying seriousness.
Upon hearing this, everyone widened their eyes in disbelief.
"Are you sure, those from the prosperous part of the kingdom pass through another kingdom when leaving?" Another guard couldn't help but ask.
"I am sure just look at his armor. This armor is also made in the core part of the kingdom" The guard replied.
Upon hearing this, they quickly began to scan the armor. Though it took them sometime to determine its origins, they were still able to determine it.
"This….."
Upon closer inspection all of the guards determined that the armor was manufactured in the core part of the kingdom!
It led them to the conclusion that Myles was truly from the core part of the kingdom. The frown on their face disappeared like a lie. In its place, laid a face full of respect, Honor and fear towards Myles's
Myles inwardly smirked when saw this.
"The plan is going as planned" Myles thought to himself.
He continued to walk without any intention of stopping, only halting his steps when was a few meters away from him.
"Open the gate, I wish to leave the kingdom" Myles said, his voice carrying a sense of superiority.
"Of course sir, just wait here for a few minutes. We will open the gates right away" One of the guards said.
The guard signaled another guard to open up the gate. Upon seeing this, Myles was very shocked but he obviously didn't say it on his face. Otherwise, he might blow up his cover.
At the very least, he expected to face some questions!! But no one asked him any question which seemed absurd to him! He had severely underestimated the amount of respect they had towards those from the prosperous part of the kingdom!!
But that didn't mean that he wasn't happy with the current situation.
"It has saved me from a lot of trouble" Myles thought to himself.
He waited patiently for the gates to be opened. The gates were opened a few minutes later, hence making his wait short.
"You can leave now sir" The guard respectfully replied.
Without uttering a single word, he walked towards the gate. He didn't bother to reply to the guard. Normally he would have replied with thanks or something.
But he didn't since not replying would suit his personality more. After all, does someone interact with someone they deemed inferior? No!!
Myles slowly stepped out of the kingdom. Upon stepping out of the kingdom, he found himself standing on a paved road. The gates of the kingdom were closed just mere seconds later. He ignored it and took a look at his surroundings.
The paved road was surrounded by countless tall trees, bushes and grass. The paved road also branched out in multiple directions. Each one probably led in a different direction but one thing was for sure.
"No roads lead to the devil forest" Myles thought to himself.
To prove his guess, he took out the map of the western forest. Taking a closer look at it. As expected, none of the roads led to the coordinates that he bought.
"I need to pass through the dense forest to reach my destination" Myles's thought to himself.
The most effective way to reach his destination was to charge through the dense forest from the start.
Since it was the most effective of the path, Myles didn't settle for any alternatives. He put on his old robe and old mask.
He originally wanted to buy a new robe and mask because of the bounty. Unfortunately, he didn't have the time to do so.
"My main enemies on this journey will be the beasts so it isn't that big of a problem" Myles thought to himself.
Although a bounty had been put on his head. The chances of encountering any players were low since most of them are at the kingdom doing missions. As for hunting beasts for exp? Players were yet to reach such a point. The wild beasts were far too strong for them to be hunted easily.
In fact if it weren't for the S rank mission, Myles himself won't think about leaving the kingdom!!
Hence, he didn't worry too much about it.
He took a deep breath and started to make his way towards the devil's forest, traveling through the dense forest.
He kept looking at his surroundings regularly to make sure that no beasts were waiting to attack him. Thankfully, he didn't find any dangers.
Just after walking for a half an hour, Myles felt like he was being watched. Hence, he momentarily halted his steps and glanced at his surroundings.
"Hmm, no one is looking at me," Myles thought to himself.
Just to be sure, Myles scanned his surroundings once more but found no one around him.
A few hours passed away in the blink of an eye like this.
As Myles was walking, he heard a sound that caused him to turn his head towards the direction of the sound. It was the same sound which was produced when the foot of a person was kept on a small branch.
The only difference was that its magnitude was a lot bigger.
"Is there a beast three?" Myles thought to himself.
He wasn't sure as of now. The only way to become certain was to see it for himself. The sound seemed to come out behind a large tree. Hence, he slowly began to move towards the source of the sound.
Upon reaching the tree, he quickly looked behind the tree but didn't find anything. But that was only when he limited his vision in front of him.
When he looked below him, an entirely different scenery was presented before his eyes. Causing a frown to emerge on his forehead at the sight in front of him.
"Something is seriously wrong," Myles exclaimed.
