A frown formed on Vincent's forehead upon being asked this question. Nonetheless, Vincent still answered his questions.
"I don't know anything about Devil's forest. In fact, this is the first time that I have heard about it" Vincent truthfully replied.
Myles became a bit disappointed upon hearing this. Although he wasn't expecting much, it still disappointed him for some reason!!
Seeing the disappointed look on Myles face, Vincent chose to ask him a question.
"What is the devil's forest? Why are you looking for it in the first place?" Vincent asked, his voice carrying seriousness.
"The devil forest is the place where the item that I am looking for is located. It's somewhere located in the northern forest of the kingdom.
However, I don't know the exact direction of the place!!" Myles exclaimed, letting out his frustration.
"Hmm, if nothing works, you can just keep roaming the northern forest in search of the so-called Devil first.
You must have some other clues to pinpoint it down?" Vincent asked, his voice carrying doubt.
It was true that he did indeed have some clues. Certainly he could just probably use the blue orb to find the devil's forest in a way. Since as he will near the entrance of the cave, the orb will glow brightly.
However, getting the exact coordinates of Devil's forest was not his only goal.
"I can probably find my way to the forest but it will take way too long. Moreover, finding the exact coordinates of the place is not my only goal.
My real goal is to gather information regarding the terrains, types of beasts residing in the forest and other possible dangers" Myles replied, his voice carrying seriousness.
Vincent nodded his head in understanding. It was true that it didn't end well for those who jumped in possibly dangerous places without any information. Sadly, Vincent couldn't help him in this matter.
"I guess that you will have to figure things out on your own. Though, I will suggest you not to waste your time on trying to gather information from normal civilians.
You have a much better chance if you try to gather information from those who explore the wild" Vincent suggested after a brief pause.
Vincent's words did make sense but it was easier said than done to gather information from fighters. Especially in the outer edges of the kingdom where the no. of fighters was almost non-existent.
Nonetheless, Myles still appreciated his advance. As he was about to talk to him, the door opened. The person who had guided them to the dorms had walked in.
"It's morning, allow me to guide you outside." The man calmly said.
"I think you are a bit late," Myles remarked.
"Just follow me, I will lead you outside" The man said in response as he started to walk away.
"Let's head outside" Vincent whispered in Myles's ears.
Myles nodded his head in approval. Without uttering even single word, they began to follow the man. The entire way Myles was pondering how to get information about devil's information.
Thankfully, his effort paid off as an idea appeared on his head.
"The caption might know something about Devil's forest" Myles thought to himself.
The caption and the other NPC were his only hope. After all the chances of encountering another fighter in the outer edges of the kingdom was too low.
"Hey can you lead me to the caption. I want to met with him" Myles exclaimed his voice carrying seriousness
The man shook his head as he walked forward.
"The caption and the others who were here have already left" The man replied without hesitation.
Upon hearing this, a dispointed look formed on Myles forehead. Since he had a feeling that the caption might be able to provide the necessary information ot him.
"Staying hung up on this matter won't help" Vincent whispered.
He shook his head upon hearing this completely forgetting about this matter entirely. Since Vincent was right that staying hung up on this won't help him in the least.
He just have to think of another solution.
"I will think what to do next after buying some equipments" Myles thought to himself as he followed the man.
He kept following the man alongside Vincent until they finally arrived in front of the exit.
After arriving in front the exit, the man halted his steps and opened up the door.
Hence, signaling them to leave the building right this instant.
Without uttering a single word, both Myles and Vincent stepped out of the building. The moment, they stepped outside the building, the door behind the closed with a thud.
Myles looked around him and saw that they wasn't even a single person at the streets. It wasn't too bad for them.
Myles diverted his attention towards Vincent who was standing behind him.
"Where are you going to do go now?" Myles asked.
"I am just going to roam around the kingdom in hopes of finding some quest to do. What about you?" Vincent replied without a hesitation.
"I am planning to go to the auction house. I heard that there is going to be some good equipment within the purchasing power of players" Myles replied.
"Oh, what kind of equipment? Where did you get this information in the first place" Vincent asked, his voice carrying curiosity.
Myles briefly explained what did he saw online.
"I can't help but say that a lot of false information circulate around the forums of the Aetheris Online.
So be careful" Vincent warned Myles.
"I know so I have already confirmed the authenticity of the information" Myles replied with a confident look on his face.
Seeing the confident look on Myles, Vincent knew that he had made his mind. Hence, he didn't stop him. In fact Vincent helped him by giving Myles the direction required to reach the auction house!!
Thankfully the auction house wasn't too far away from here. It will only take him near 2 hours to reach his destination on foot.
"Farewell bro, we will see one another very soon" Myles said while extending his fist towards him.
Vincent did the same, shaking his hands with Myles. They retrieved their hands. Without uttering a single word, they went their separate ways.
Myles began to follow the directions provided by Vincent to reach the kingdom. As for where Vincent will go in search quests was mystery itself.
