They chatted with one another for a few minutes. They didn't talk about anything important. Myles stood up a few minutes later.
"Vincent, I will be logging in now," Myles said.
"Same for me" Vincent as he also stood up.
Without uttering a single word, Myles pressed the logout button causing his body to dissipate into countless small fragments shortly after.
His vision blacked out a few seconds later alongside losing all of his senses. This state lasted only for a few seconds before he regained his senses.
Already grown familiar with this process, he removed the console from his standing.
He looked at his body drenched in sweat.
"Let's take a bath and try to get some info about the devil's forest," Myles remarked as he got out of his bed.
He rushed straight to the bathroom while taking his new clothes.
A few minutes later.
Myles was currently sitting in front of his laptop hoping to dig some info about the devil's forest.
After taking the bath, he had completed all the chores that needed to be completed just a few minutes earlier.
"Let's search for some info" Myles muttered under his breath as he turned on his browser.
He quickly loaded up the official forums of the website. After loading it up, Myles began to search for information regarding Devil's Forest.
He went from one article to another after confirming that the article was irrelevant to the info that he was looking for.
Nearly half an hour passed away in the blink of an eye, but he still hadn't found anything useful to him.
"Let's keep looking," Myles thought to himself.
He kept looking for info for the next hour, but he didn't find anything!!
At this point, he confirmed that he wouldn't find anything useful in the official forums of the VR game.
"I need to think of another way to gather information," Myles thought to himself.
This wasn't working so he decided to think of another way to get some info. After thinking for some time, he got an idea.
"Since the forest is located somewhere near the Eldoria Kingdom then the citizens of the kingdom should know.
It's a lot better if I ask them. I will also ask Vincent since he interacts a lot with the citizens" Myles thought to himself.
Although this plan wasn't the best, this was his only way to get info. Hence, he had no choice but to go forward with this plan.
Nonetheless, he soon diverted his attention to his laptop.
Even though, he didn't find anything useful regarding Devil's forest. He did find something that got his attention.
(A full body armor alongside a powerful sword is going on auction tomorrow at the only auction house in the outer edges of the kingdom.
From my sources, the armor and sword are quite worn out but are very well within the purchasing power of a few players. I highly suggest you all visit the auction tomorrow.
The guards will ask you who told you to visit the auction house today. Then please say my name since this will allow me to complete my mission.
My player's ID is )
The items mentioned in the post were very attractive to him currently since he was just about to embark on a dangerous mission!!
With 7500 universal coins in his reserve, he felt quite confident about winning the bid. Since he was sure that only a few people had wealth comparable to him on the outer edges!
Considering the lack of missions and very low-paying missions in the outer edges of the kingdom!
As for mentioning the name of the player in the post, it wasn't a big deal if he could get a chance to buy some good equipment for a low price!
However, confirming the authenticity of the post was very important. It had a decent amount of likes, views, and comments, though.
"Let's see what comments say about this," Myles thought to himself as he began to scroll the comment section.
The majority of the comments were quite positive. Which meant the post was probably authentic.
Nonetheless, Myles turned off the laptop and collapsed on his bed.
"I have a lot of work to do tomorrow. I will have to gather info about Devil's Forest and head towards the auction tomorrow.
I can't fail this mission, or else I will regret it for my entire life," Myles thought to himself.
He set up the alarm 6 hours later since, by then, it would be morning in-game.
6 hours later.
The alarm went out, breaking Myles's slumber. He rose from the bed while rubbing his eyes.
He rushed towards the bathroom to freshen up and had breakfast. He completed all the chores. It only took him 1 hour to complete everything.
Now, he was ready to enter Aetheris Online. He rushed towards his bedroom and put the console on his head while lying down. He pressed the power button, causing his vision to dark and notification to flash in his retina.

(Welcome back to the world of Aetheris Online, Player Myles!!)
The darkness completely disappeared like a lie, now he was currently standing in his dorms.
Myles looked around him and saw that Vincent was nowhere to be seen. He quickly opened his friend list and checked Vincent's status
"He is still offline," Myles thought to himself.
He walked towards the door and confirmed that it was still locked. The guard did say that the doors will remain open until it's morning.
However, he had no way to confirm whether it was day or night because there wasn't a window in the room!!
"I guess I just wait." Myles frowned.
With nothing better to do, Myles just sat down on the bed. Thankfully, Myles didn't have to remain alone for long since began to materialize out of thin air!
Vincent had come online! Upon coming online, he looked around him and spotted Myles.
"Since when are you online?" Vincent asked.
"It's only been a few minutes. " Myles replied with a smile.
They chatted with one another for the next few minutes. As they chatted, Myles had a random thought that he decided to ask Vincent.
"Vincent if only one of us were online when they entered the game. Will they question the one who is online about you" Myles asked, his voice carrying curiosity.
"No, they won't notice you even if you log out right in front of them. They'll forget about you when you log out and only remember you when you log back in. That's how the developers programmed them." Vincent replied.
"What about on missions?" Myles asked.
"You will probably fail the mission if you do so. Also, you can't log out during combat" Vincent remarked.
Upon hearing this, Myles nodded his head in approval since all this made a lot of sense.
"Btw, Vincent, do you know anything about the Devil's forest?" Myles asked, his voice carrying seriousness.
