It's been three days since my family returned to our province. We had a wonderful time during our visit, and I cherished every moment we spent together, especially thanks to the efforts of Raze and Mommy Rousey. However, I'm now feeling troubled.
I've been receiving threats from an unknown source and a warning from Mr. Rance, who insists that I must leave and forget Raze, or he will forcefully make me. It's incredibly selfish of him!
With each passing day, my fear grows, and I'm unsure of what to do. Despite this, Raze's smile and everything he does give me the strength to keep fighting.
"Ranz, I'm going out for a bit. I'm just going to meet someone at the café nearby," I informed him before leaving.
I was on my way to meet Raze's father, and I felt a bit tense about it. I checked my reflection on my phone screen. I looked fine, but my racing heartbeat concerned me.
Fortunately, Raze was busy elsewhere, so I didn't have to worry about explaining my whereabouts. Mr. Rance had insisted that I keep everything a secret from Raze, so I had to stay silent.
I booked a taxi and arrived at the café in just ten minutes. The place was a bit crowded, making it hard to spot him. After searching for a while, someone approached me, asked for my name, and then led the way after confirming that I was Lorence.
The atmosphere changed as I stepped near the garden. He chose an open-air spot, and it was just the three of us, plus a waiter nearby who seemed to be waiting to be called. I saw Mr. Coleman sitting comfortably with a man standing behind him, likely his guard.
"Just continue, ma'am," the man who accompanied me said as I slowed my steps. He then turned his back and left, leaving me feeling nervous.
I took a heavy step closer and greeted him as I arrived. "Good afternoon, Mr. Coleman!"
"Have a seat, Lorence," he said. What he uttered made my insides tremble, even though he was doing nothing threatening. Gush!
"Coffee?" he added.
"A-ah! Sure, sir, thanks!" I replied.
"Here's the menu," he said, not sounding intimidating this time.
"I'd like a dalgona, sir."
"Okay! Waiter, please bring her a dalgona coffee and more tea for me." The waiter approached, bowed, and then left to fulfill our order.
"Sir, why did you invite me here?" I asked directly, wanting to leave already.
"We can talk about that later," he replied.
"How's Raze?" he continued, scrutinizing me as if he were a scanner.
"He is fine, sir. He's doing great, although I sense something's off. I feel like he's hiding something from me," I answered honestly, hoping to hear what I needed to know.
"I see, he's still selfless," he responded with a smile. Suddenly, my heartbeat calmed, and it felt like I was just talking to my dad.
"What do you mean, sir?" I asked, puzzled.
"No need for you to know. Anyway, what do you like about my son?" he asked, catching me off guard.
"About him? Well, he was so rude, ungentlemanly, grumpy, intimidating, cold, and crazy—yet I was wrong. He has something inside him that can make any girl fall in love. Actually, I don't really know how to answer your question, sir. I can't find the exact words to explain, or maybe I don't need to explain. I love him, and that's it," I managed to answer, sounding a bit insane even to myself.
"Okay, how is he as a boss?" He sounded as if he didn't know what his son was like. Was he playing around?
"He is very kind, thoughtful, and the most awesome boss, sir. He grew like a perfect fruit, and you're the tree, sir," I responded.
"I'm the tree? You're wrong about that part. If he were my fruit, then why is he a grape while I'm an apple? We're pretty different." He replied seriously, then leaned back and sighed deeply, as if lost in thought.
I didn't respond. He was right—Raze was very different from him. They were far from being similar, yet everyone has their own unique character and traits.
After a minute, the waiter arrived with his tray. I hoped I wouldn't start to palpitate from the dalgona.
"Thanks!" I said as the waiter placed my drink in front of me.
Why did I sense that Mr. Coleman was a good father? Maybe he wasn't strong enough to drop his pride and show Raze that he had accepted the past. I didn't know for sure, but I could see the change in his eyes when he asked about Raze. They were full of love and concern.
"Lorence, my next question might not make sense, but I still want you to answer it. Do you think Sabrina and Raze would do great together? Are they compatible?" he asked, and just as he had warned, the question didn't make much sense to me.
"Maybe they are, because you're risking everything just to bring them together. Both of them can create a different world through their properties, power, and fame. But my parents taught me one thing: we cannot buy everything. Those things don't always make us happy. Sometimes, all we need is priceless love, attention, and effort to make every new day unforgettable and memorable," I answered directly, then looked up at the sky. It was bright and clear, despite it being noon.
"I'm selfish and greedy, Lorence. I can't break a pact. Haaa!" He took a deep sigh before sipping his tea. I think I understand what he's done. If I'm not mistaken, it's about the engagement between Raze and Sabrina. He had no choice, or did he set aside all other choices?
"It's fine, sir. We can decide our future, and everything will work out if fate doesn't mess it up," I replied, feeling calmer, more serious, and honest this time, until...
"I like you, yet I still want you out of my son's life," he said. It was the sweetest words I had ever heard from him. At least he liked me, and we had a comfortable conversation with each other. This day felt meaningful to me.
"I can't, sir. I love your son," I said, knowing that he was already aware of that.
"What do you need? Tell me, I'll provide, just leave my son," he pleaded.
He handed me a cheque worth 1 million.
"Sorry, sir. Like I said earlier... We can't buy everything, so you can't pay me just to leave him," I replied firmly. I took one last sip to finish my dalgona and stood up.
"Sir, I'm sorry for everything and thank you. I have to go now. Thank you for today," I said, formally bowing before turning my back.
"I'm sorry," I heard him say, his voice low as if he didn't want me to hear it. Why was he sorry?
I left the place feeling a mix of happiness and curiosity. Life just seemed to unfold in its own complicated way.
Days went by, and as usual, Raze would drive me to work before heading off to his meetings or other agendas. He had less time to message me or visit Texno to eat lunch together. We were both busy, and I understood him. He had a lot of business to attend to, and after work, he would work on his vlogs. It became a daily routine after dinner, and I often found myself watching his vlogs if I missed him. Every minute counted because we had less and less time for each other, given our hectic schedules.
As I prepared to surprise Raze for our first monthsary, I realized that loving him didn't mean he'd always be with me. I learned that love meant understanding and making sacrifices for someone you care about.
Time seemed to fly by as I baked a heart-shaped cake for him and crafted a pop-up box filled with our cherished memories. Every day was special, but this day would be the most special for us, at least.
After finishing the preparations, I placed everything in the fridge and went outside to wait for him. But as seconds turned into minutes and hours passed by, he still hadn't come home. It was already 10 PM, and there was no sign of him.
Feeling sleepy, I heard the arrival of a car, so I quickly ran back to my room without letting him notice. I pretended to be asleep. As expected, he came to check on me. I felt his warm, soft lips touch my forehead and cheek.
"I'm sorry, love, for my shortcomings... You're my rest in this cruel world, love," he said, sounding sad. I didn't know why, but his words made me feel like crying. He slowly ran his fingers through my hair and planted a kiss there. Was he facing some trouble? I hoped he would tell me.
He stayed silent, and I could still sense his presence. After a moment, he left, so I hurriedly checked the time. It was already 11:45 PM, which meant I had only 15 minutes left. I waited for him to go directly to his room before fully stepping out and heading to the kitchen to grab the tray cart. I felt nervous as I entered his security system, my hands shaking during the face recognition process.
The light was still on, indicating that he was probably still in the bathroom. I slowly closed the door and pushed the food cart near the bed. I was checking my wristwatch when I heard the sound of the door opening, and there he was—Raze, now drying his hair with a towel.
"L-love, I—"
"Happy 1st monthsary, love," I cut him off to greet. It was exactly midnight. His stern face faded, and a smile now lit up his features. He hurriedly drew near and hugged me tight.
"I missed you," he whispered, still holding me tightly.
"Me too, love," I responded, returning his embrace.
"Happy first monthsary, love," he said, then let me go.
He loved the cake; it was designed like his ICEcore's mask. While eating, he suddenly stood up and got something from his drawer.
"Here!" he said, smiling as he handed me a black box. I excitedly opened it.
"WOW! I love this. OMG! Thank you so much, love!" It was a white shirt with Zero Two and Hiro's faces looking at each other, but it wasn't as simple as that. The shirt changed what you saw when you looked from the side—it was us on the shirt too. He had one for himself as well, and he made me super happy. I loved how it changed the image.
"This is the first and the real start of our adventure, love. I'd like to stay with you forever. I hope that it'll be granted," he said, sounding hesitant. I didn't have any words to say, so instead, I just gave him a peck.
We watched movies together while cuddling until we got sleepy. The next day, he became even busier than before. He even slept at his company since he had his own room there. I sometimes stole a moment and surprised him with a coffee and a sticky note beside it. He would spend a little time with me before I left to do my job. That became our routine, and I got used to it.
"Having fun with him on the way to the office was always a highlight, and every time he sent me home meant a lot to me.
"Yey! Cath, we're launching our 2nd game next week," Cassy excitedly exclaimed.
"Wow, I bet it'll be as successful as our previous creation," I replied, sharing in her excitement. The success of our games opened up numerous opportunities, not just for me, but for everyone in the company. Lately, we've been receiving a lot of projects and creating even more. I'm glad that Raze hasn't been burdened by worries, but instead, he's been busy driving real progress forward.
"Cath, we're going outside, wanna come?" Liza asked me, but I wasn't in the mood to go out.
"No, I'm fine here," I replied, focusing on my phone.
"Sorry!" I received a message from Mr. Rance. I couldn't fathom why he was apologizing. It had been a month since our last conversation, and I wondered why he remembered me at this time. I simply ignored it and immersed myself in creating digital art on my phone. I used Ibispaint and started making tutorial videos on YouTube. Surprisingly, I already had 500k subscribers in just a month. I was glad that they enjoyed my videos. The funny part was that some of my viewers requested videos featuring Raze.
Amidst creating my art, I received an incoming video call from Stacey, so I accepted it.
"Hi sis! How are you? Oh? Why do you look like that?" Suddenly, worries replaced my excitement because she was crying.
"Tell me, what's the problem Cy?" I asked, concerned.
"I'm sorry for not telling you this, sis. Lately, we've been having a hard time. Our school Dean warned me that they'll drop me out if they don't see you. They've given me just two weeks, and—" She didn't continue speaking. Instead, she cried hard.
Seeing her in tears made me feel like crying too. I was hurt.
"Stacey, hurry up. Let's leave immediately!" Mom yelled, carrying Toby. She looked pale.
"What's going on, Sta—"
"I'll call you back later, sis. Dad's in trouble!" she rushed to say and ended the call. I was frozen after hearing what she said. Fudge! My heart felt like it was going to collapse.
Now, I really felt agitated, pacing back and forth, waiting for Stacey's call.
I calmed myself as the girls arrived and excused myself, then went to the nearest free room. I ended up in the conference room since it was vacant... Fudge! I only stayed here to overthink!
I felt like I couldn't breathe. I wanted to know what was going on so I could figure out how to react.
An incoming call made my heart skip a bit and it turns out to be Stacey.
"Stacey! What's going on?" I asked urgently.
"He's not fine, sis! T-the hospital won't accept us. This is the third hospital, yet they still rejected us... T-they refused because they know our family name. I don't know what's going on or how to comfort Mom," she began to cry. Fudge!
"Where's Mom?" I asked urgently.
"They're in the car. Sis! It's painful to see Dad in agony," Stacey replied, her voice filled with distress. I didn't know what to say. Dad had kidney problems, and I hoped he'd be fine.
"Sis, I'll call you back. Mom's calling me. She's crying," she said and hung up the call again.
After a few minutes, I received messages from Mom and Stacey.
"Cath, we need you! Only you can sacrifice one thing for our ease." Mom said it sounded like begging.
"Sis, we need help!"
"If you guys need money, I can send some right away. I don't know what to do!" I texted back, tears streaming down my face."
"We don't need money, sis. We can't even get their service."
As I silently cried, my chest began to hurt as if it were being hammered and stabbed mercilessly. I couldn't understand the pain; it felt like it wanted me to hurt myself too. Then suddenly, as I saw Mr. Coleman's message, "I'm sorry," something clicked.
My family didn't need my money, they didn't need me there personally, but they needed me to stop it—to stop whatever was happening, to sacrifice one thing. I couldn't shake the feeling that the scenarios unfolding were somehow connected to Raze's father. I wasn't sure if I was just overthinking or if my hunch was right, but my fingers moved right away, and I called Mr. Rance.
"It's ringing..." I wiped my tears, now biting my fingernail out of nervousness.
"Hello?" There he was.
"Sir, I'm begging you. Stop all the things you started," I pleaded.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"Dad is sick, yet the hospital refuses to accept them. Stacey was warned by the Dean that she'd be dropped if I can't come to see them within two weeks. Sir, please, this only means that I have to go back, and that also means leaving your son. All of this is because of you! I know it!"
"I'm sorry, but this is the only way we know that will work. I can't change my son's mind and yours without using this strategy," he admitted.
He said "we," and it was probably in cooperation with Mr. Davis, Sabrina's dad.
"Tell me what to do. I need to save Dad. Please!" I begged.
"Leave Raze. We are going to stop everything," he said, his voice cold as if he were being forced. My tears flowed dramatically, and my chest hurt threefold. I couldn't leave Raze, but with this situation, I felt like I had no choice.
"I-I will, sir. Just stop everything. I can't put my family's life on the line. Please! I need them, so please, sir. Leaving your son means saving water using a strainer. Don't you know how hard and impossible that is? Why, sir? Why can't it be me? Why does it have to be her? Tell me now. Tell me you'll stop meddling in our lives too," I pleaded, my heart breaking.
"Comrade Davis already secured the freedom of your family. Now, leave my son," he continued, while I couldn't stop my tears. How did we end up like this?
"Give me one week to stay with him, sir!" I begged desperately.
"Sure, just don't tell him about the deal," he replied, ending the call. My chest suddenly felt heavier than before. I didn't care if they could hear me loudly crying; I was truly hurt. They didn't just hit two birds with one stone; they killed them... Killed me softly.
Tears streamed down my face. I hadn't realized that the proposal would end up being just a memory before letting go. Darn it. Darn it all to hell, those crazy rich people. I hate them. I hate them!!!!!!!
INCOMING CALL... It's Stacey.
"Sis, Dad's already at the emergency room. D-did you—"
"Yes, don't worry. See you soon." I said, tears streaming down my face. I hadn't expected it to be this painful.
"Look after them for me, okay? I'll be fine! I'll hang up now. I'm going to continue working, but if you need something, just message or call me. Tell Dad to fight. I love y'all. Bye!" Stacey said sadly before hanging up. I couldn't speak for more than that, or else my tears wouldn't stop flooding.
I tried to compose myself and, after that, I left the room and grabbed my bag from our area. Without a word, I left. I had to go back to the mansion and rest.
I booked a Grab taxi, and on the way, I couldn't hold back my tears. How could I stop crying when all I could think about was the safety of my family and leaving the man I loved? How could I force a smile when I was about to leave behind the reason of it? My heart felt like it would become a hollow space, like an abandoned home. This life wasn't a fairytale where the Prince and the Princess would live happily ever after. It didn't exist after all.
As I arrived, I ignored everyone because of my blurry vision and locked myself inside my room.
"I love you, Chump!"
"Did I tell you I love you?"
"You're my only woman."
"I'll fight for you."
I suddenly remembered how we started, how we temporarily hated each other, and then fell in love. It hurt.
Someone knocked on my door. It was Mother Sharn. She looked at me with sympathy as I poured out my heart to her, tears and sobs accompanying my words.
"Are you feeling better now?" she asked gently.
"I have to be, Mother Sharn. I have to act fine so he won't sense something. There's still one week left for me, Mother Sharn. One week to silently tell him that I love him so much. A love that's enough to kill me as I let myself go the distance," I said, wiping my tears. She cried with me too. I felt sorry for burdening her with my pain.
"I'm going to sleep, Mother Sharn. Can you wake me up when he arrives?" I said, forcing a smile.
"I will," she replied softly. I simply nodded and hid under the comfort of my comforter before she left me.
I woke up to find Raze sitting by my side.
"O-oh? You're here!" I was surprised, but I was also happy. I forced back my tears, my eyes were tired from crying. Aish!
Seeing him made my heart ache, knowing that I was going to leave him. Damn it!
"Masha told me that you didn't eat with them because you were waiting for me. Let's eat!" he said, smiling. I nodded and held his warm hand. I loved it, but I also knew that the day would come when I'd forget how it feels.
"I stopped by Texno to check on you, but you weren't there, so I left you a message. You didn't respond. Are you sick?" he asked, sounding worried.
"I'm fine now, love. You're already here," I said, causing him to pause for a second, perhaps because I called him "love" again.
"I love you!" he uttered, pulling me closer as he wrapped his arms around my shoulders.
I loved this man, but I had to sacrifice this love for my family. That wasn't so bad, after all. I knew how far riches could go to protect their treasures and make them grow, and they wouldn't stop me, as they wouldn't succeed in their plans. Tsk.
Raze and I ate happily, he shared lots of new funny stories. After eating, we walked around while talking.
"Love, can I be your personal assistant for a week?" I asked.
"Eh? I don't need one, love. Why are you asking anyway? You're my fiancee, okay?" he replied.
"Love, I just want to stay with you during those days. Is that bad?" I pouted.
"Hmm, you can't be my PA—"
"But love—"
"Shhh! You can stay beside me without doing anything. Okay?" he interrupted, kissing my forehead. I was going to miss this, everything he did.
"Yay! Thanks, love," I said, trying to hide my emotions.
"Love, why were you crying earlier?" he asked suddenly, catching me off guard. How did he know?
"Hmm, n-nothing, love," I stammered, hoping he wouldn't push further.
"Why? Answer me! Erika asked me if there's something between us since she saw you crying, and for the first time, you ignored them," he explained, concern evident in his voice. I felt doomed.
"A-ah! Dad was at the hospital, but he's fine now," I replied. I had received a message from Mom that he was already fine, but sadly, he still had to undergo a kidney transplant. We needed 120k for the kidney, and the money in my account would be more than enough. However, Dad refused to undergo the transplant, so I was going back with a purpose. I had to convince him.
Stacey also messaged me happily that the dean had already apologized to her for threatening her without good reason. It was their loss too for losing an excellent student in case they continued the threat. I wondered how much Mr. Rance and Davis had paid.
The next day, I accompanied Raze to his investment company, bringing my digital pad to work while he attended to his duties. Despite his busy schedule, we managed to have fun and talk most of the time, as if our lips didn't tire from moving and conversing. Sadly, our borrowed time would soon be up.
On the second day, he freed up his schedule to spend time with me. We played arcade games, and he even won a huge teddy bear in the dart section. He was so good at it.
There was never a dull moment with someone we loved—a moment with Raze.
Every night, I found myself unable to sleep, despite usually feeling sleepy in his embrace. Instead of sleeping, I ended up staring at his face, memorizing every detail, and silently crying like crazy. It felt like I was truly torturing myself.
On the third day, I woke up before Raze, who was still sound asleep. I played some music, loud enough to fully awaken him. I kissed him and hugged him tightly before we rolled over in bed and exchanged morning greetings. Suddenly, a nightcore song started playing. I lowered the volume and stood in front of him, offering my left hand to be held.
"You and I
We're like fireworks and symphonies exploding in the sky
With you, I'm alive
Like all the missing pieces of my heart, they finally collide
So stop time right here in the moonlight
'Cause I don't ever wanna close my eyes
Without you, I feel broke
Like I'm half of a whole
Without you, I've got no hand to hold
Without you, I feel torn
Like a sail in a storm
Without you, I'm just a sad song
I'm just a sad song" I sang and didn't finish it before I cried.
Sad song by We The Kings
"Love, what's wrong?" he asked, pulling me into a hug.
"I love you, Raze. I love you so much, love," I answered, feeling the weight of my words. Yeah, I guess loving him at this time was so wrong.
Despite the impending separation, I tried to make every day special. We cooked and baked together, he taught me how to drive a car, we went to the gym together, he brought me to watch a motorcycle race, and on the fourth day, we checked out the top view, riding in a helicopter where he was the pilot, which amazed me so much. After that, we worked from home together.
On the fifth day, we watched horror movies, which was my first time, and played with the huskies. Around 4 PM, we prepared to attend his friend's birthday party, where I saw him play the piano again. He was truly talented.
Then came the sixth day. We decided to film a vlog for his account, with the content titled "Rating Satisfying Stuff with My Girlfriend and Q&A." He showed me some satisfying toys, and we played with them, rating their satisfaction level. I didn't really have enough strength today, knowing that I would have to leave the day after tomorrow. But this video would be a part of our memories, so I did my best to enjoy it with him.
Time has a cruel way of making people stay away and causing pain. My thoughts were spinning with frustration. But despite it all, we continued to find joy in each other's company. We played computer games together and swam in the pool, enjoying the moments before our inevitable parting.
I had already made a decision, and what I planned to do went smoothly. We made love for the second time around. He tried to resist, knowing the promise he made to himself, but I did my best to tempt him. In the end, we both succumbed to the sweet rhythm of our passion, the melody of our movements echoing in the room until we both reached our climax. I had saved myself for him to be my first and last.
Even now, I can still feel the warmth of his lips on mine.
The final day arrived. We started with breakfast in bed, savoring each moment together. Afterwards, I prepared myself for what lay ahead. I told him that I was going to meet Cynthia, and he agreed to drive me there and pick me up afterward so we could go to the cinema together. I needed to say goodbye to Cynthia.
We talked for almost two hours, reminiscing about old times. Then, I booked my flight ticket online and contacted Raze. Now, here we were, watching a comedy movie.
I lay against his chest while he wrapped his arms around my shoulders. He was laughing loudly at the movie, but I couldn't bring myself to join in. I looked up at him, and suddenly tears filled my eyes.
"Oh? Love, why are you crying? Look, that's funny!" he said, pointing at the screen.
"I'm just happy, love. Thank you for everything," I whispered, and he wiped my tears away, kissing my forehead. I was going to miss this, but I couldn't wish for more. I just wanted him to be happy, even though I was leaving.
"Let's enjoy, okay?"
"Yeah," I nodded. I had booked a flight for exactly 5 AM tomorrow. My heart was completely broken. It hurt so much.
Dear Raze,
I find myself constantly in tears, even amidst our happiness, because the thought of leaving you feels like an unbearable reality.
Always yours,
Lorence
He had grown tired and decided to sleep early, while I remained awake, working on a digital art piece for him. It was meant to be a remembrance, a final gift before I left. I couldn't resist capturing a photo of him while he slept peacefully. I knew I was going to miss him terribly.
Raze,
When I first saw you, I felt a mix of emotions—I hated you, yet I couldn't help but admire you too. I thought maybe someday I could say "I do," but fate seems to have other plans for us. It's as if we're on parallel paths that won't cross again. I love you deeply, but I know your future must be clear and safe with Sabrina.
I'm not giving you up to her, but I trust her to take good care of you. Even though I may be leaving, I'm leaving behind my heart, which will always belong to you, my love. I pray for your triple success. I love you.
Always yours,
Cath ♥️
After finishing the digital art, I pulled up a chair and sat beside the bed, gazing at him from the perfect angle. Tracing the lines of his face, I stole a kiss, and suddenly tears began to silently flow once again. I didn't want to sleep because this would be the last time, my final chance to gaze at him meaningfully like this. It was already 1 AM when I decided to try to sleep. I set an alarm for 3 AM and began packing my things. Afterwards, I went to the servants' quarters and cried in front of them. They were all crying too, but that couldn't hold me back.
They helped me with my suitcases, and Mother Sharn called Sebastian to accompany me to the airport.
"Mother Sharn, please give this letter to Raze tomorrow or later if he'll find me. Tell him I give up, you know what to say... just don't tell him about what his dad and Mr. Davis do to me and my family. Everyone thank you so much, I love y'all. I'm going to miss you guys." Then we hugged each other dramatically before I got inside the car.
Every little thing seemed to bring tears to my eyes, and Seb once again handed me a box of tissues, as if that was his sole purpose. It was hard to believe that I was actually leaving. Leaving behind my heart, lest I bring it back broken.
As the passengers for the flight from Cazila to Lahzon were called, I couldn't shake the feeling that Raze still hadn't noticed my absence by his side.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the captain has turned off the fasten seatbelt sign, and you may now move around the cabin. However, we always recommend keeping your seatbelt fastened while seated. In a few moments, the flight attendants will be passing around to offer you hot or cold drinks, as well as your breakfast. Enjoy the flight. Thank you!" The announcement played over the speakers, but my mind was only half-awake, lost in my thoughts.
"Attention passengers, this is your captain speaking. We've already initiated our descent procedure into Lahzon Airport. We anticipate landing at 6:30 am, 10 minutes ahead of our scheduled time. The weather is sunny. We hope you enjoy your stay in Lahzon and look forward to serving you again soon. On behalf of our entire crew, thank you for choosing our airline today." I tried to focus on the announcement, but my thoughts kept drifting back to him... the man who held my heart.
Sometimes, love means knowing when to let go.
I'll always cherish the moments we shared, mi señorito.♥️
As the plane descended, my heart felt heavy with each passing moment. I didn't know if he would ever read my goodbye note, if he would understand why I had to leave. But deep down, I hoped he would know that every word was written with love, with the purest intention to protect him and his future. As the tears streamed down my face, I whispered one final goodbye to the man who held my heart, hoping that somehow, somewhere, he would feel the warmth of my love.
