"Is your fist okay?" Lillian grabbed Sylas's hand to inspect it. After all, that was a solid wooden door, and punching through it should have hurt his hand. However, she found no sign of injury. Sylas was truly unharmed.
It was unbelievable. Sylas's fist was incredibly tough.
"So, do you want this ability?" Sylas asked with a smile.
"Yes, I do," Lillian nodded eagerly, her face full of anticipation.
Sylas chuckled softly, "Well, that depends on your performance."
Without hesitation, Lillian hugged Sylas and kissed him. After all, she had nothing to lose. Lillian's intensity surprised Sylas. After a while, they parted, and Sylas nodded in satisfaction.
"Very good, I like your attitude and intelligence," he said. "Now, I will grant you extraordinary power. However, I must also tell you that just as I can give you power, I can take it away and even end your life."
"Moreover, if I die, you will die as well. This is the cost of being my slave. As for the benefits, you should already feel them—I can bestow upon you great extraordinary power."
Lillian was completely stunned. She could feel herself gaining immense power: night vision, firearms proficiency, marksmanship mastery, and Innate Strength. She received the full version of Innate Strength, while the other abilities were somewhat diminished. Even the weakened abilities made Lillian feel significantly enhanced.
Now, all she needed was a handgun, and she could be invincible against ordinary people. No, she didn't even need a handgun anymore because she had Innate Strength.
This was three thousand pounds of strength. A casual punch could easily kill an ordinary person. However, although Lillian had strength, she lacked combat skills, so she was at a disadvantage in an actual fight.
Sylas observed Lillian closely. When he acquired Innate Strength, his body was strengthened, his muscles swelled, and he became much more robust. He wondered what the effect would be when Innate Strength was shared with Lillian. Would she also become more muscular?
Sylas focused on this aspect. An astonishing scene unfolded before his eyes. Lillian did not experience muscle swelling. Instead, her body underwent optimization. Previously, her height was a drawback—she wasn't tall or particularly statuesque. After receiving Innate Strength, Lillian's body was enhanced, and her imperfections were corrected. Her legs became more slender, she grew taller, and her figure became more elongated and elegant.
Her body didn't bulk up; instead, it became even more refined. Sylas pinched the muscles on Lillian's arm. They were soft and tender, completely different from the iron-hard muscles on his own body. Sylas was bewildered. He never expected that Innate Strength would have such an effect on a woman.
"How do you feel now?" Sylas asked.
"I feel amazing, better than ever before," Lillian replied excitedly.
"Try out your strength. Go on, punch that door," Sylas instructed Lillian.
"Okay."
Lillian agreed and punched the wooden door in front of her. With a loud crack, the door was shattered by her punch, just like when Sylas had done it.
"A truly terrifyingly strong woman," Sylas thought to himself. He had to admit, Innate Strength was incredibly beneficial for women.
"Let's go, I'll take you home. There are a few others there, and you'll need to get along with them," Sylas said with a smile. With Lillian now part of the household, Sylas's group gained additional combat power. However, Lillian, despite her newfound strength, lacked combat skills and would need Sylas to train her.
"You mean you have other slaves?" Lillian asked, surprised. She was smart and quickly realized that the 'others' Sylas mentioned were his other slaves.
"That's right," Sylas nodded.
As they walked, Sylas was also getting used to his new strength. Suddenly gaining three thousand pounds of strength wasn't something one could easily adapt to. Fortunately, since this strength was a system reward, Sylas adapted quickly. By the time they exited the building, Sylas was already comfortable with his new power.
As they stepped out, a horde of zombies rushed toward them. Lillian screamed in fright. Sylas calmly threw his katana, and under his telekinetic control, the blade began slicing through the zombies' heads. As long as they weren't mutated zombies, Sylas found it easy to kill ordinary ones now.
Lillian watched in astonishment, completely stunned by the sight.
