Sylas ignored Lillian's shock. He took out a motorcycle, hopped on, and barked at Lillian, "What are you doing? Get on the bike, now!"
Hearing Sylas' shout, Lillian snapped back to reality and quickly climbed onto the back seat of the motorcycle, wrapping her arms around Sylas' waist. Sylas accelerated, taking off with Lillian.
The streets at night were filled with zombies. Fortunately, Sylas was on a motorcycle, which was not only fast but also nimble, allowing him to weave through even the narrowest gaps. This way, he could easily leave the zombies behind.
Ordinary zombies were no longer a threat to Sylas, but the few mutated zombies they encountered on the way still gave chase. Sylas used telekinesis to hinder the mutated zombies' pursuit, ultimately bringing Lillian back safely to the residential area.
Most of the zombies in the neighborhood had already been killed by Sylas, making their entrance safe. Although there were many survivors in the community, they were too scared to leave their homes, so they didn't realize the area had become safer.
Upon entering the villa, Sylas and Lillian were met by Clarissa and the other two women, who had heard the noise and came over immediately. Clarissa was holding a handgun, which Sylas had left with her for protection. Seeing that it was Sylas, Clarissa sighed in relief. However, seeing that Sylas had brought back another beautiful woman made Clarissa feel a mix of amusement and exasperation.
Clarissa couldn't help but wonder where Sylas kept finding all these attractive women. Nevertheless, she had a vague understanding that Sylas' ability to attract these women was somehow related to his powers. Although she had her suspicions, Clarissa had never brought them up with Sylas. Being a smart woman, she knew what to say and what to keep to herself.
"Let me introduce you to your new companion. Her name is Lillian, and she is now part of our family. Everyone, please welcome her," Sylas said.
"Welcome to our family, Lillian," Clarissa greeted with a smile. She had fully embraced her role. As Sylas' first slave, she felt a responsibility to maintain the harmony within their group. She was very satisfied with her current life and wanted it to continue.
"You must be Clarissa, and you are Hayden?" Lillian exclaimed in surprise. She hadn't expected to find Clarissa and Hayden here, and it seemed they had also become Sylas' slaves.
"Take your time to chat. I have some matters to attend to. Also, Clarissa, get her something to eat and let her take a bath. She smells awful," Sylas instructed.
Clarissa, being sensible and smart, understood her responsibilities. Sylas trusted her to manage the household well.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of everything," Clarissa replied with a smile.
"That's good," Sylas nodded and left the villa.
Finding Lillian had been an unexpected bonus for Sylas, but he still had his own tasks to complete. From Lillian, Sylas had acquired the Innate Strength skill, granting him immense physical power. With this newfound strength, Sylas felt even more confident in dealing with the mutated zombies.
Exiting the neighborhood, Sylas rode his motorcycle, deliberately drawing the attention of nearby zombies. Both ordinary and powerful mutated zombies were lured out by Sylas. He had no interest in ordinary zombies; his focus was solely on the mutated ones.
Heavy footsteps echoed as a giant zombie, standing two and a half meters tall, pushed through the horde and approached rapidly. This was an exceptionally powerful strength-type mutated zombie.
Sylas's eyes locked onto the mutated zombie. He put away his motorcycle and strode confidently towards the creature. The ordinary zombies around him didn't attack, allowing him to approach the mutated zombie without interference.
Suddenly, the mutated zombie let out an angry roar and charged at Sylas. It sensed something unusual about Sylas and became aggressive. At close range, the zombie aura couldn't conceal Sylas from the mutated zombie, prompting its attack. The surrounding ordinary zombies also began to stir restlessly.
Sylas accelerated suddenly, closing the distance to the mutated zombie. With a powerful swing, he brought down his katana. Although Sylas lacked combat skills, his immense strength made the blow devastating. The mutated zombie instinctively raised its arm to block the attack.
With a loud crack, the katana sliced through the muscle of the zombie's arm but was stopped by the bone. The bones of the strength-type mutated zombie were incredibly tough. Sylas quickly withdrew his katana and stepped back just as the zombie's fist came crashing down. The punch missed Sylas but smashed into a nearby car, obliterating its roof. The force of the punch was immense, demonstrating the zombie's formidable power.
