The Warlord, Crocodile has attempted to take rule over Alabasta.
The World government was furious and immediately removed Crocodile as a Warlord and placed a sky-high bounty on him.
They didn't even personally investigate properly.
Kizaru was dispatched from the Marines to capture Crocodile before he could escape and he was quickly caught and sent to impel down.
Luffy, at this period, had finally managed to cross the grand line as well.
Unfortunately for Luffy, there will not be an Alabasta arc for him.
Robin hurried to make her escape from Crocodile when she discovered everything that Crocodile had been planning had been exposed to the world; she knew that someone would come here to capture Crocodile soon.
To her relief, the news about the Ancient weapon, another major objective of theirs, was not revealed.
She packed up a few things in a small hand-held suitcase and set out, she didn't know where she wanted to go, but she knew she had to get out of there.
In her journey through the sandy deserts of Alabasta, an archaic portal opened in front of her, causing her to stop and immediately be on guard.
Through the portal she saw Stephen step out rather calmly, his eyes never leaving her.
"So, where are you gonna go now? Once Crocodile is captured, he will probably expose your whereabouts and your desire to read the ponegliphs," Stephen said to Robin.
Her arms, which were about to cross, froze in place.
Stephen stepped through the portal as he appeared on the sandy desert while the portal closed behind him.
"I'm sure you will escape Alabasta, but then what? Make your way through the seas, hoping that you find someone who will let you gain access to the ponegliphs. How long will that take, years in my opinion and that's just to find that person." Stephen said, each of his words striking Robins's heart like a bolt of lightning.
"Or you can join our Kingdom, and in exchange, you will get not only protection but also access to ponegliphs hidden from the world in places you didn't even know existed." Stephen said.
Robin stood there in a daze.
She tried to think of another way
Anyway, that would prevent her from potentially endangering the citizens under Augustus, but for the life of her, she could not think of anything.
Every other option was far worse in comparison to Augustus who has someone who can teleport.
In the end, she could only give up and go with Stephen.
In the throne room, Augustus assigned her as a teacher on the subject of Ancient writings, and with Stephen's back, he gathered all of the doctors together that he had recruited and assigned them to Stephen.
Augustus also used his 70 points to summon 7 teachers who were just basic teachers and assigned them to the education department.
Another two months flew by and three hospitals were opened up to the citizens with technology that was not exactly cutting edge in the modern world but to the Onepiece world, it was filled with advanced machines thanks to the collaboration between Tony and Vegapunk.
One big hospital opened up in Glofield Kingdom, while the other two large hospitals were opened up in Alabasta due to the size difference.
Stephen had been mostly busy educating doctors like Dr. Kureha on more modern practices, and they were very interested in the knowledge Stephen imparted to them and diligently studied for about a month until they were dispatched to the three hospitals.
Only One school that taught students all the way up to High school was opened up; the subject was moulded to fit into the new world of Onepice yet still maintained the basics taught in the modern world; this was done in a collaborative effort between Stephen and Tony.
The time for The Summit War also was right around the corner by now.
Godfrey had been training hard with Shanks, learning new techniques of using haki such as emission, etc, which he was quickly mastering.
His control and capacity in Haki were constantly improving extremely rapidly, reaching close to mastery; this was due to the fact that Godfrey's Physique had long become equivalent to a yonko, and his willpower was extremely strong, which contributed to Godfrey's quick development.

He finally understood just how crazy the divide between a level 9 being is compared to a level 8 being.
He had just received only 30% of Godfrey's power and abilities, and that alone pushed his level to 8, so he finally understood just how terrifying beings such as IM, Joyboy and Rocks were.
He also didn't understand why IM never appeared even though she was so powerful; nobody would be able to compete with her.
