There was a hand drawn map in the card. Oddly, the map was small enough to fit in the card but clear enough to see vividly and the card is only the size of palm. The starting point on the map indicate his exact location. He knew it by looking at the detailed drawing the point which was resembling so much like the cafe he was sitting in with exact amount of tables and chair and even room design. The map even showed some buildings around the cafe exactly similar to other buildings near it. There, between the starting point and final point is the arrow line instructing on how and where to go. The final point is named "The Ebony Bunny Port".
Mac thought it was weird that whoever seemed to be welcoming him is knowing exactly where he was and able to replicate the map of the whole section, part of Santiago. He thought it was impressive that he who made this map was able to draw something like this within 30 minutes of him arriving in the cafe. But apart of him also crept out by the fact that he felt like he was being watched.
Nonetheless, he was glad that he now didn't need to pay for the hotel and flight to easter island. The place he was looking for is now in his hand. He finished up all his meal and stepped outside full of energy from his nap, food and joy he got from map for an easy trip. He walked along exactly with the arrow on the map.
On his way to the port, he started to see buildings and infrastructures around him began to morph into same color patterns. The streets become more violet the more he walked. The sky dimmed into indigo. The street lights glow bright golden yellow. Every building has yellow frame outline with painted purple. The civilians were nowhere to be seen but he didn't remember the last time they started to disappear. No sounds were heard apart from the strange soft stomping sound heard each seconds like a ticking clock or beating heart. He looked around to see the entire capital of Chile has now completely different from what he had once known.
When he reached the final point of the map, he saw fogs surrounding all around the port. This suddenly reminded him of the areas beyond the iron fenses at home. He braced himself and stepped toward the wooden deck. There were a few boats tied to it but he didn't know which one. Should he ride them or wait for the boatman. He waited a for a little while then he saw a single boat coming from afar within the fogs.
The person rowing the boat was covered in robes. He looked like the boatman who guides the souls in the underworld for a penny. With the things he had encountered, Mac wouldn't be surprised if it were the case. The face of the boatman cannot be seen clearly. But Mac understood that he wanted him to get on the boat. So he stepped on it without a second thought. He jokingly tried to think was the man in robes would have ears of a hare. He accidently giggled loudly but the boatman didn't look back and kept on rowing. Mac put his backpack behind him and layed on it thinking about only one thing in his mind.
"I wonder what would Easter Gloom looks like".
