Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

"Thanks for the boat ride 'Mr Grimreaper looksalike'. Let me check my pocket to see if there's any penny since you looks like you demand only coins."

Mac checked his pocket and pulled out a few pieces of coins.

"Here you go, uh..."

Before he knew it, the boatman was already a few yards away leaving.

"Guess I'm not dead yet."

Mac muttered and remembered to look up at the island. There were still some fogs covering in front of him.

"Maybe if I go further, I might be seeing the environment much clearer."

As he thought to himself, he began to see things around him more vividly. The purple grasses beneath him slowly fade away as he marched further from the fogs. Then he saw the wide and massive grass field all toward the horizon. The grasses are green and the sky is light blue, completely different from the ocean and the town he came across.

He looked around to see if there was any other entity beside the neverending floor of grasses. At near the horizon, he found a structure resembling a house. A three storey house. In his suspicion, he ran towards it. The house is eeriely similar...no... the same as his uncle's house.

He grab his key in one of his backpack's pockets and tried to shove it into the padlock. The key fitted perfectly. He opened the door and saw the furniture in the house the same as the one at his home. Is he home? Mac expected weirdness. But not this level but this also confirmed the fact that his uncle's house looked odd in the first place.

"Uncle...I knew my uncle was up to something. But what is the point. What is the purpose of it."

Mac questioned to himself while laying his back on the wall sitting. Mac then attempted to explored the house completely. He had been living in that house for months but never truly discovered what things are hidden. Starting with the ground floor, he removed the furnitures to find the hidden "Easter eggs". He found nothing.

He then moved to first basement. Suddenly the basement seem larger than usual. The shelves growing upward like monoliths pointing at the sky... a literal sky...in a basement. And all the wines bottles are purple with golden emblems. As if to feed more people than normal. This is abnormal. But still didn't explain anything. He continued to search in the second basement below, the food supply room.

Carrot soup, beetroot salad, dandelion green salad, herb pasto pasta, cabbage stew, radish salad, cucumber salad, mixed vegetable stir-fry, turnip gratin, parsnip and apple soup, leafy green wraps, etc...vegetables... and vegetables eaten by hares...No meat... no grains. This is abnormal. But not how was everything make sense. He then went to the second floor above the ground floor, the place where browse about the hare, the computer room.
