Sunny quickly made her way to the basement. She knew that there was no way for him to kill her family, turn them into chimeras, and get them into her courtyard without her knowing. So she came up with the only solution, theres traitors in the academy.
She has to destroy the academy and make sure everythings gone. Nothing must go wrong. If theres any mistake then Connor will definitely know and all her work would be for nothing.
"Miss Sunny, the girls are waiting for you." Sunny turn to her and nodded. She was beautiful. Blonde hair with purple eyes and really tall.
"Miss Sunny, sorry for over stepping but, did you really need to use that spell. I can already tell from how you look. How many years of ur life did it take!?" The women said with a worried look.
Sunny knew her maid had a crush on her, but she never felt worthy of her love, especially not right now. It pains her to be cold to her but thats all she knew. That women was too perfect for her. Sunny felt like if it weren't for her holding her back she would've been somewhere better right now. Especially now that more than half of her life force is gone, plus the poison eating away at her, she can't keep her hanging.
"Leslie, here is 20,000 gold, take it and hide somewhere safe. Leave now. If I see you when I come back I'll- please just go." Sunny said with a grim expression. She was never good with threats, probably never will be.
Sunny gave her the bag of gold and turn to where the 3 girls were standing. The whole time she never turned back to look at Leslie. She knew that if she turned around her heart would waiver and she couldn't afford that.
"Carol, Faith, Yenna, did you guys start on the array? We need to finish it before tonight. Once we're done you 3 will seperate and never contact each other unless necessary. I will give you each 20,000 gold which should be enough to help you find a new way to make money." Sunny said with a stern look on her face.
"Yes, we started it and were able to go much faster than I previously calculated. But a problem has occurred. Our strengths arent enough to finish the array so you will have to do it yourself, but it shouldn't take long as we've done most. Its about 5pm right now so we should have enough time." Says Carol. She was the one who informed Sunny of the guests arrival.
The other two girls nodded, agreeing with what Carol stated. Sunny signed and nodded expressing her understanding. She took the ink and brush and continued. Sunny was quite relieved that they didnt mention her appearance, how old she looked. She knew she could always trust them to prioritize the important things.
"Ah, since you girls are basically done, I want you guys to go activate the self destruction arrays around the academy. It takes a days for them to work, so it should work by the time they come tomorrow, hopefully it'll kill them. Dont let anyone know."
All three of them nodded and headed out the basement. There are 3 main arrays in the academy that Sunny had set up a few years ago for protection. When its idle it'll protect the academy but when activated it'll destroy the academy and everything in its vicinity. It's destructive ability is equivalent to a black hole which is why it doesn't last that long. The longer it lasts the more destruction it causes, and could even destroy a whole planet.
Sunny felt relief when the girls left. She needed time alone, to think about her next steps. But that relief didn't last long.
