Sunny went inside the basement towards the array she had finished. Right next to it she started to draw another array. It was smaller than the other array and had less requirements.
Sunny finished it rather quickly. It was around 3:30am by the time she finished. She waited until 4am and activated the smaller array.
The smaller array was made to teleport all the students and staff, even the traitors, in the academy out of the academy and in random places. It would also put them to sleep for a full day.
It took 30 minutes for the array to finish and the academys defense was on. Sunny was ready. The moment someone who isn't a student or staff enters the academy then the defense would activate and vaporized everything in its vicinity.
Sunny took a small nap at around 4:30am and by the time she woke up it was 6am. She immediately got up and went inside the large array. She started reciting strange words, as if it was distorted. And in 45 minutes she dissappeared.
7am hit and 3 tall men in all black showed up. They went to open the door to the academy and everything went dark. Some force was sucking everything in at an alarming rate. They had no time to react. In just a few seconds the academy disappeared along with the 3 men.
In a office made a gold. Connor walks around anxious. He had a feeling something was going to go very wrong and he would lose the book. He knew he was stronger than Sunny and his men were stronger than her but he still had that feeling. Minutes felt like hours. He never felt time go by as slowly as it did right now.
A women in a black dress with gold came in the office. She looked at him nervously. "Sir.." she knelt and looked up at him. "We have terrible news. The academy dissappeared and we lost contact with 3 assassins. Their soul lamp broke."
Connors eyes immediately turned crimson. "What about the book? Wheres my book!? If I don't get an answer I like I'll kill you and your family."
Her expression turned from nervously to genuine fear. She knew that he wasn't going to like the answer she had. "Sir, since the academy dissappeared we don't know where the book is. We have no idea where Sunny is. She didnt leave the academy at all. We had people spying outside the academy. None of the students nor staff left the academy. It was like they all dissappeared. We assume they died like how the 3 assassins died."
She was about to stand up when she felt lighter. Her hands started touching everywhere frantically until she touched where her head was suppose to be. Her body fell to the floor blood staining the white floors.
Connor looks at her body annoyed. "Quickly come clean this up." He ordered. 3 maids came in as if used to this. They meticulously cleaned everything and left just as quickly.
Connor went to his desk and started writing letter to 3 people. Then something struck him. He doesn't need the book to become a god. Although the book was going to help him become a high tier god immediately, he still has time he'll just start off slow. All he needed was idiotic followers.
Connor finished his letter and set his plan into motion. He was going to become a low tier god, and conquer a planet to help become a mid, and if the planet was strong enough, a high tier god.
A few days passed and Leslie managed to go to another country and found a house in the woods to live. Leslie wanted so bad to go to Connor and kill him but she knew she wasn't strong enough, and she knew that if she tried everything Sunny did would be for nothing.
So despite what she wanted, she continued to live in hiding. She went to the nearby town every 2 weeks to get things she needed and to sell jewelry she made. And just like that years passed. She heard of people going to the Abney Church and saying that the God was fair and wise. But she knew the so called God they worshiped was evil.
The moment she heard of this new religion popping up she knew it was Connor and that he found another way to become a god.
A few years later, Leslie lays on her bed. She knew she was going to die. Even on the verge of death Leslie couldn't help but think of Sunny. 'Sorry Sunny, even with all you did, that bastard found a way to become a god. Hopefully he never finds you wherever you are.' And with that thought she died. No one ever found her body nor her house.
