Chapter 5 - Chapter 4

Sunny felt a presence walk up on her and she immediately knew who it was.

"Please may I just say this. Its going to be my last chance to ever see you anyway. I dont want to leave with any regrets." Leslie pleaded.

"Fine, make it quick. Once you're done just go." Sunny stopped what she aas doing and turned to look at her.

"I know you know this already but I wanted to have the chance to tell you. I love you. I will always love you even if you dont accept me. I dont care about how you look, I just want you to be safe, please can you promise me that!?" She said with a sad smile.

Sunny hesitated for a while and nodded. "Leslie, you know we can't be together. If Connor even finds out that you like me he might come after you too. So please just leave it at that and go."

"I don't just like you, I love you. I can't change my feelings Sunny. I will leave but can you grant me just one wish?" Leslie came closer to Sunny with a doting look in her eyes.

Sunny nodded and Leslie didnt waste one second. She grabbed Sunnys waist and pulled her foward, bending down for a kiss. Their lips collided, tongues swirling in each others mouths. They stayed like that for a few minutes before Sunny forcefully pulled away.

"Okay go. You had your wish." She felt ashamed. She looked like like a grandma while Leslie was still youthful, such huge a contrast in their appearance, she just couldn't take it.

Sunny didn't even spare a glance at Leslie as she left. She just picked up the brush and ink and continued to finish the array. She couldn't let these things get to her. They didn't have much time left.

The poison started to flare up again but she ignored the pain. She knew she would have to start getting used to the pain as there was no cure for the poison but death. And death wasn't a luxury she could afford now.

5 hours passed and it was a little over 10pm now. With the array finished she finally felt that her plan would work. She had less than 10 hours to finish everything and come back to the basement before the arrays finish activating. The array will activate around the same time that they will come to get the book. She can only hope that it works and they all die, or at least most.

She hurries out of the basement and walks to her desk. On her desk are many papers and books. She stares at a particular book. Its a book that anyone would gloss over unless they were purposely searching for it.

One of the books powers is that unless the person searching for it has pure intentions, regardless of how hard they look they will always miss it. Sunny was only able to keep the book safe because it's abilities. With rhe power contained in the book no matter how hard she tried, it probably wouldn't have been with her right now if it weren't for the books protective abilities.

Sunny found the book a few years ago while on a mission. It was just laying on the ground. The area around it was flourishing with rare plants. So she picked the book up and opened it.

At first she couldn't see words in the book, it was just a book with blank pages. Then something happened words started appearing, but it stopped in the middle. She never got words to appear in the rest of the blanks pages.

A few months after having the book, she started getting strong and then she started to hear rumors. That the Great Demons were fighting for something and they would give whoever found it whatever they want. Instinctively she knew they were looking for the book. After that she barely open nor touch the book. She was scared they would be able to sense it.

Sunny picks up the book and puts it in her bag. Her bag was like a small sky blue shoulder bag. It looked like it could only hold a small book. While the book she put in the bag was anything but small, yet it still fit.

Sunny turned around and started going through everything in her office. All the important books, she put it in her bag. Every potien went in her bag. Everything in her vault that was used for the academy was put in her bag.

By the time she was done it was 1am. The office looked empty. There was random papers on the floor and random books everywhere. The furniture was in pieces. Sunny looked around with a proud look and headed back towards the basement.
