Felix took a deep breath, he looked into the distance with vacant and sorrowful eyes, his expression was that if extreme sadness.
" I was born in a small mountain village. There were only about a hundred households in our village, but everyone was honest, simple, and hardworking. My parents were hardworking too. I have two older sisters and two older brothers - I was the youngest.When I was just five years old, I was very mischievous. I would sometimes play pranks on the other children in the village, making them cry. I loved running off to the small river in our village to catch fish and play with the other kids. "Do you want to continue hiding out in this sad excuse for a mansion for the rest of your days, or do you want to seek revenge?" Felix asked Chef Gideon with a glint in his eye.
Chef Gideon found himself lost in thought as Felix's words echoed in his mind. Was he really a coward, choosing to hide away instead of facing his enemies head-on? Did he truly desire revenge? The answer was clear - he was done living a pitiful life and was ready to take action.

" And don't worry about that curse hanging over you - I can take care of it. It'll just take some time," Felix reassured him as he stood up.

Felix nodded. "Yes, but it will take some time. Are you willing to wait?" he asked.
Excitedly, Chef Gideon nodded. "I can wait. When can I start working?" he inquired eagerly.
Felix cleared his throat. "Well, the restaurant isn't open yet," he admitted.
Chef Gideon was shocked. "What?! Your restaurant isn't open yet?" he was speechless.
Felix quickly reassured him, "Don't worry, the restaurant will be open in seven days. Just be patient."

Felix stood in front of the massive gate, feeling a wave of relief wash over him. He had finally secured a chef, and now all that was left was to open the restaurant. Once that was done, everything else would fall into place.
Suddenly, Felix felt someone hug him from behind. Startled at first, he quickly calmed down and turned to see Nixie with red eyes.
"Why are you crying, Nixie?" Felix asked gently."
"Big bro, you've suffered," Nixie said, tears streaming down her face.
Confused, Felix asked, "What do you mean I've suffered?"
Nixie continued to sob, saying, "I didn't expect your childhood to be so tragic."
Stunned, Felix burst into laughter. "You're crying about the story I told earlier?"
Nixie nodded, looking at him with pitiful eyes.
Felix smiled as he walked forward. "Well, don't take that story seriously. I made it up."
What?!!!!!!" Nixie ear piercing scream sounded behind him.
Felix immediately covered his ears, and just Nixie appeared in front of him with wide eyes.
"What do you mean you made that up? You mean all that crying and emotion was fake?"
Felix nodded. "Yep, I did."
"Fuck you big bro, you made me waste my precious tears for nothing!" Nixie said, gritting her teeth and looking angry.
Felix shook his head. "Nixie, do you think if I hadn't told that tragic story and used it to manipulate Chef Gideon, he would have accepted the job?"
Nixie fell silent, realizing Felix was right. By appealing to Chef Gideon's pride and desire for revenge, Felix had successfully convinced him to work for them.

Felix locked eyes with Nixie and said, "Let me teach you something, Nixie: Survival is winning. Everything else is motherfucking bullshit ".
