The sound of the debris was deafening, and everything appeared hazy from the shattered stone rubble.
"Ugh, my head," Park stood up, rubbing the back of his head.
"Everyone's scattered; this doesn't look good," Park wiped the dirt off his face and hair.
He looked around, "I can't see anything, damn it."
"Thud... thud... thud... thud," the sounds of the golems approaching Park grew louder.
As the golems moved, the debris increased, along with the amount of dust and smoke coming from the cement.
"Crack! Crack! Crack!" All Park could do now was listen to the sounds of debris echoing around him.
Suddenly, a massive golem's hand reached out to punch Park with great force.
But Park blocked it with his hand, staggering back from the force of the punch. "Damn those filthy golems."
"Clomp... Clomp... Clomp... Clomp!" The golem was running towards Park.
Park spotted the golem's eye, clenched his fists, and at the moment the golem was close, he struck it with a powerful punch that scattered and shattered it.
But another golem's arm from the right sent Park tumbling several times to the left.
Park's body was armored with titanium, so he wasn't affected, but it was still quite irritating.
"Damn, there are so many golems," Park cursed and then ran towards the golems.
Park danced among the golems, destroying one and dodging others.
"There's no end to them, damn it!!!" Park felt anxious.
Although Park's current condition was relatively good, the other saints did not have titanium bodies like him, and many were in worse conditions.
It wasn't long before Park heard someone's scream. "Raaaahhh!... ugh!"
The scream of the saint Jennifer was loud and echoing.
"Damn, that's Jennifer," Park ran quickly towards the sound.
As he ran, he saw Orasawa flying beside him and crashing into him forcefully.
"Ouch, damn you and your sturdy body," Orasawa was grimacing in pain from the impact with Park.
"I heard Jennifer's voice, didn't I? We don't have time, move with me," Park extended his hand to grab Orasawa.
Many golems were indeed running behind Orasawa already.
"Damn it, damn it, damn it," Orasawa got to his feet and started running quickly after Park.
"Ah, her voice was so strong; she might be dead by now," Orasawa replied.
"Damn, I can't see anything, slow down, you metal block."
"Clomp... Clomp... Clomp... Clomp!" The golems were running behind them.
"Shut up for a bit, damn you," Park shouted as he ran as fast as he could.
As the two ran towards the sound, they both heard the deafening clash of swords.
"Those are Leonard's swords. What the hell is he fighting!" Orasawa said.
Two golems appeared in front of Orasawa and Park, but Park quickly destroyed them and avoided the debris.
"Maybe it's that damned statue," Park replied.
It wasn't long before they found Jennifer's body crushed into the ground.
"Ugh, what a disgusting sight," Orasawa looked at the corpse.
Park turned his eyes away from the body. "Damn, run, we don't have time for this. We have hundreds of golems behind us, thanks to you." Park said irritably.
"It's not in my hands you idiot! They gathered around me when those walls broke" Orasawa replied,
"We need to get out of here quickly, or our fate will be just like hers."
Park spotted crimson eyes from the far right, and it seemed they were chasing someone. "Damn it, how many of these golem scum are there?"
The one being chased was Saint Somo.
"Oh, hey guys, are you alright?" Somo called out to them.
Park and Orasawa's faces turned pale, and they quickly turned left.
Somo was surprised by their ignoring him and looked to see dozens of golems behind them.
He was also being chased by dozens of golems.
In short, they were all trapped in a crowd of golems with only one way out to the left.
That path led them to a corner of the city where there were broken walls, and possibly dozens more golems.
Not to mention the fog and dust, the situation was dire.
"H-h-huh! Oh no," Somo ran quickly after them.
"Thud... thud... thud... thud!" The sounds of the golems grew louder, and the ground shook from their massive number as they chased the three.
"It's all because of you, you damned Leonard. I swear I'll kill you," Park shouted as he ran.
Meanwhile, Lamar and Saruman were facing a number of golems.
She was cutting them down one by one with the ease of slicing through paper, moving with grace. "There are many of them; I need to find the rest and get us out of here," she said.
Saruman was destroying dozens of golems with a single strike from his katana.
The golems were melting away from the strength of the purple liquid Saruman was unleashing upon them.
"I agree with you; no, we're not in a good position," Saruman responded.
At that moment, everyone in the city heard the powerful sound of a sword, sending strong sparks through the air in every direction.
It was a powerful sword swing that, due to the force of the sound, shattered many of the remaining buildings and glass in the city.
Saruman and Lamar looked up to see Leonard falling from the sky, covered in blood.
Leonard fell to the ground before them, drenched in blood.
"Leonard!" Lamar screamed as she ran to him.
"Shhh... shhh... shhh..." The sound of the sword scraping was approaching them.
Saruman tried to look back, but he was already surrounded by numerous golems.
Lamar grabbed Leonard's shoulder, who seemed to be saying something.
Gasp... cough! "R-r-run away quickly..." Leonard coughed as he looked at Lamar.
"Thud... thud... thud... thud," The ground shook violently with each step.
Then, massive crimson eyes glowed intensely with deadly intent.
It was towering at eleven meters tall.
It had long stone wings and wore spiked stone armor.
Its stone sword was about six meters long.
Its body was emitting ominous black smoke.
Lamar stared up in shock and disbelief, "Impossible..."
The creature before them was the ArchDemon statue, but...
Everything about it was different—it seemed more terrifying, more powerful, and larger.
"What the hell is this!" Saruman looked at the towering creature before him.
Park, Orasuwa, and Semo glimpsed a mist around a colossal creature from the far east of the city.
Park, looking astonished, said, "What the hell is happening over there!"
Victor, who was about to collapse on a rock and was on the brink of death, with dozens of golems closing in on him, looked at the shadow of the massive creature to the north. "Oh God, have mercy on us..." Then the golems pounced on him and crushed him like an insect.
The other two saints were trying to escape the city.
They were being pursued by dozens of golems.
They glimpsed the shadow of the creature behind them to the south.
"Oh God, please, please, I don't want to die today," one of them cried, sobbing in despair.
The other one was gasping and running until his strength failed, falling on his stomach, and looking back to see four golems beside him.
"No, please, please, nooo!" he cried out before being crushed like an insect.
The population of the city was 2 million, and in one night, they were all wiped out.
Eleven saints entered afterward, but only six remained...
