Shuji slyly slipped away from Alexis's clutches, strolled out of the room, and started exploring the house like a boss. He stumbled upon the kitchen and a couple of other rooms, not the one they crashed in. There was a swanky living room and a cozy little space linking everything together. Shuji stumbled upon a room that he immediately knew belonged to Rei. Despite knowing it was a big no-no, he couldn't resist snooping through Rei's belongings. Lo and behold, there was a bed with a picture of Shuji's brother, Koji, hanging right above it. Talk about awkward! As he continued his investigation, he came across a locked drawer. After a quick search, he managed to find the key that he suspected would unlock it. With a moment of hesitation, he inserted the key and opened the drawer. He stumbled upon a photo and what seemed to be a journal. He checked out the decade old photo for a bit. The sides were all messed up, but it was preserved like a precious relic. In the picture, there was a cheerful couple with two kids. The older boy seemed to be about fourteen and he seemed somewhat recognizable. The younger one was around eleven or ten and he looked even more familiar. Looks like those boys are getting into a little scuffle. Shuji decided to ignore that drama and crack open the journal. He devoured every word, tracing the writer's journey from childhood to now. From silly fights to annoying siblings to the pressure to settle down. The latest entry hinted at a blossoming romance, and Shuji couldn't help but chuckle. Rei finally found love, but it looks like it's not exactly what Shuji expected. Oh well, love is love!
Well, he casually set down the journal and strolled out of the room. Glancing back, he muttered to himself, "Oops, guess I trespassed on someone's privacy. Oh well, no turning back now." Suddenly, it dawned on him that it was time for dinner. With a shrug, he made his way to the kitchen. Turns out, Shuji was quite the chef. He whipped up a delicious meal and headed to the room where Alexis was catching some Z's. Giving him a gentle nudge, Alexis groggily woke up. It took a moment, but he remembered the steamy make-out session they had, along with the mess they left behind. Taking in the scene, Shuji realized he was parading around in his undies. He sheepishly asked Alexis for a change of clothes. Too flustered to speak, Alexis simply pointed to his closet. Following the gesture, Shuji picked out a suitable outfit. Despite the age gap, Alexis' clothes surprisingly fit him well. Oh, the joys of borrowing clothes from someone younger!
Alexis decided to take a quick shower before digging into his meal. As soon as he took a bite, he couldn't stop showering Shuji with compliments. "Seriously, how are you this good at cooking? Did you go to culinary school or something?" Alexis exclaimed. Shuji, with a chuckle, responded, "Nope, my father thinks cooking is only for the ladies. Plus, who has time for extra classes anyway?" "Cooking isn't just for girls, it's a survival skill. The only skill I failed to master," Alexis retorted. Shuji chuckled once more, causing Alexis to think, "Huh, I never realized how cute Shuji's chuckle is." He just couldn't stop eating. He was just about to ask Shuji something when suddenly, *click* went the lock on the front door. And then a loud thud, as if something heavy was slammed onto the door. The door swung open, and in walked Rei, locking lips with Koji. They were going at it so passionately, they didn't even notice Alexis and Shuji sitting there. When they finally pulled away, Rei gave the most wicked smirk, and Koji pleaded, "No, no, enough please..." But before he could say another word, Rei pushed him against the wall and went in for another kiss. As Alexis and Shuji watched in disbelief, feeling totally awkward, Rei was just about to go in for Koji's neck when Alexis realized things were about to get out of control if he didn't intervene. That's when Shuji cleared his throat with an "ahem."
