Chapter 36: Beastia City
Beastia City was a huge city with a population of over ten million. The city as the name suggests consists of mostly beastmen.
Beastmen are one of the major races of Eldoria.
Although their appearance is similar to humans, their beastial features separate them apart.
Beastmen's race consists of various minor races like the cats race, wolves race, foxes race, etc. They have features like cat ears or wolf paws that separate them from humans.
The city was a cacophony of activity, its markets thrumming with the chatter of trade and the clink of coins. Known as one of the primary trading hubs for the beastmen race, Beastia City never slept, its atmosphere perpetually charged with a sense of lawless vitality.
Though Beastmen were lacking in technology compared to other races, they had created a city that was a marvel in its own right.
Big buildings towering all over the city, an ever-bustling market, and powerful guards patrolled the city, ensuring a semblance of order amidst the chaos.
Loki had heard a lot of praise about the beastmen race's prowess. He wanted to have a proper duel with them but sadly the stupid curse made it impossible.
He could battle them using sensory skills but it wouldn't be fun now, would it?
Loki and Athena had a brief conversation with the merchants, the head merchant expressed his gratitude towards them and offered them discounts on their shops. They reluctantly agreed and excused themselves.
"Athena, Let's book an inn and rest there today. I'm totally exhausted and hungry. We can explore the city tomorrow."Loki suggested weariness etched in his features.
"Alright. I'm also in need of some rest and sleep. Let's go." she agreed, both of them wandered for a while before finding a suitable inn.
"Hello! How may I help you?"
"We would like to book two rooms for a week," Athena replied.
"Sure, That would be two hundred earls."
Athena passed her the earls, taking the room keys.
"Thank you, Have a nice stay!" she thanked with a sweet smile. They exited the inn, deciding to fill their stomach first.
They arrived at a nearby restaurant and had their dinner. The food here was very delicious, especially the meats.
He wished to devour them and enjoy their flavors very badly but tough luck for him, He could only observe them as it was worthless for him.
Because of the curse, he couldn't taste anything nor could he smell them so he just ordered a simple meal and forcefully finished it.
"Soon…" He muttered glancing at Athena's meal. She was enjoying her meal while he was getting tortured by these bland foods.
"Sir, Was the food to your liking?" the waiter inquired with a gentle smile.
"Yes, It was very good." He smiled at her while grumbling internally.
This is not fair…
They finished their meal and left the restaurant. The street lamps were turned on as the sun had already set.
They approached the inn and entered inside.
Athena passed a key to Loki and they entered their rooms.
Loki was tired so he took a quick shower and laid on the bed entering his dream world.
Athena however, took a shower and brought out the orb from her ring.
It was the reward for the completion of the trials. The orb was the size of a marble, It was glowing lightly with a greenish hue and had a thunder symbol in the middle.
She observed the orb for a while before placing it back. Her intuition told her that it was highly beneficial very her but she was cautious and chose to acquire some information first.
She stored it and brought out some books. They were the rewards of the trial of Wisdom. She picked a book named [Eldorian History] and started reading it.

"Status," Loki murmured, summoning his personal interface.

Two items appeared before him, they were a vial of blood and a book. First, he inspected the blood.

The art was called [Primordial Origin Sutra].
It was a very powerful and devastating art. Just the first form could literally collapse a giant mountain.
"This is too overpowered!" Loki's amazed voice echoed as he witnessed the art in those memories.
Although the [Primordial Origin Sutra] was beyond powerful, It had a very stringent requirement.
Its first requirement was a powerful physique which in itself is pretty rare, the second requirement was a steady and unwavering mind. This requirement was difficult but not impossible.
The third requirement however was almost impossible.
The third requirement stated that the inheritor must have a Yin-Yang element in order to display its fullest potential. Yin-Yang element is the hardest almost impossible element to acquire.
To acquire the Yin-Yang element, You either need to be born with a Yin-Yang Absolute Physique which is one of the rarest physiques ever recorded in human history, or to acquire all the basic and advanced elements to evolve them into Yin-Yang or Taichi.
Even Loki himself didn't have a complete Taichi.
His Yin and Yang elements are separate and haven't merged yet as he is missing some elements like ice.
Lucky for him, He has already completed other requirements and is missing just one so he could use the art.
Though to fully utilize it, he would have to reach the diamond rank or even the fabled radiant rank of the legendary tier.
