Chapter 40 - Weird Encounter

Chapter 40: Weird Encounter

Loki exited the room and approached the inn. He took a relaxing shower and filled his belly afterward.

Today, He planned to visit the Battle Arena of Beastia City.

Beastmen are a battle-hungry race so they always challenge each other at the Arena.

Loki had desired to battle some powerful individuals of the Beastmen race but because of his disability, he couldn't challenge them.

Beastmen always value a fair fight as a respect to their ancestors. He couldn't challenge them because of this curse as this would be disrespecting them.

After properly finishing his duty, He approached Athena's room and knocked on the door.

"May I come in?" he inquired.

"Come in."

Loki entered inside and glanced at Athena. She was immersed in reading the piles of books before her.

Cough

I drew her attention and had some casual talk with her. We sat next to each other and enjoyed a peaceful conversation. After a while, I brought up the main topic for my visit.

"Athena, I'm planning to visit the Arena. Wanna come with me?" He inquired, excited.

"Sorry Loki, I can't. I'm very busy right now. How about we visit it later?" she replied, pointing towards the books.

"Umm… Alright. How about tomorrow?" he questioned with hopeful eyes.

"Sure."

Athena nodded, she could probably finish these books by tomorrow.

Loki didn't want to disturb her any further so he excused himself and exited the room.

He didn't have much to do so he just roamed around the market. The marketplace was bustling with the crowd and merchant's noises.

While Loki was wandering, A young lady appeared at the entrance of the market.

"This is quite busy, worthy of being one of the biggest trade hubs." Her eyes wandered through the crowd of people.

She entered inside looking through the stalls for some useful stuff. She was here just to try her luck as normally she didn't bother with this but today she was feeling quite bored.

Loki was using his passive Dragon sense skill to roam around not to appear odd.

This skill was extremely helpful although not as capable as his five senses, It did provide him with a better perception of his surroundings.

He roamed for a while before stumbling upon an old, rusty shop. It was a bit far from the main market, almost empty with no one bothering to even spare a glance at it.

Loki thought that it might have something interesting so he entered inside. It looked old, dusty, full of cobwebs, and poorly maintained.

There was an old man peacefully sleeping near the counter.

"Sir, Can I look around?" Loki politely inquired. The old man just shooed him away telling him to bring the item that he would like to buy near the counter else don't disturb him.

Loki first glanced at his ring inspecting its status.

[Transformium: An ancient artifact that can change its form freely into anything it absorbs.]

(Status: Epic tier↑)

[Hollow Beam: Fires a black beam with a piercing effect.]

[Atomic Deflection: A one-shot move that deflects any form of attack.]

[Inventory: A huge space that can store items.]

[???]

It had healed a bit. Previously, its status was damaged, but it has now grown to epic-tier. Though the sacrifice was great, he had fed it almost all the weapons that he currently had. Oh well, It doesn't matter since he is rich.

He roamed around inspecting the items. Most of them were damaged weapons and artifacts. They were worthless as healing a damaged artifact requires a lot of resources. Loki is a perfect example.

As he was going through the items, he sensed someone's presence near him.

It was a girl with fox ears and three tails. A beast girl from the fox tribe.

She had luscious pink hair, pink eyes, two cute fox ears above her head, and three fluffy tails.

She had an hourglass figure and a seductive body that could seduce anyone who laid their eyes on her. The aura surrounding her was similarly charming and attractive.

(Remember guys, Loki can't see their facial structure and their body since he is blind. He can only sense their presence and aura. He could make out a 3D figure in his mind by sensing their body but sensing other's body is intrusive and requires their permission. These descriptions are for you all so enjoy, hehe.)

Luna entered the shop and glanced around. She felt a strong aura inside this shop so she entered it without much thought.

Her eyes landed on Loki who was quietly minding his own business. He was wearing some ordinary clothes and a pair of black sunglasses.

Although he was hiding his face using the deception potion, it couldn't deceive Luna's eyes.

"Interesting." Her interest was piqued as she couldn't see through him.

She had a bloodline skill that could gaze at other's ranks. It had helped her a lot since it could even inspect Diamond-rank individuals. This was the first time it had failed.

She approached Loki and tried to have a conversation with him.

"Hello, Can you help me?" she requested, releasing her seductive aura.

[Name: Luna Delfox]

[Age: 15]

[Physique: Charming Grace Physique]

[Title: Divine Beauty, Fox Tribe Heir]

[Tier- Rare]

[Rank: high-Silver]

[Affinities: fire, charm]

[Abilities]

[Charming Grace] [Flaming Strike] [Seductive Hypnosis] [...]

[Copy condition: Defeat her.]

He raised his eyebrows glancing at her status, especially her physique.

This is the second time he has met someone with a blessed physique.

He became curious about her divine beauty title and why the fox tribe's lady was approaching him.

He glanced at her face but this damn curse prevented him from viewing it.

"Sure, What do you need help with?" he inquired a bit sad.

"Can you help me pick up that artifact? It's beyond my reach." she alluringly replied displaying her charming figure.

Loki nodded and picked up the artifact before giving it to her. He continued his inspection, ignoring Luna's presence.

He couldn't even view her beauty so why waste time?

Luna was stunned by his attitude. It was the first time that someone had ignored her.

She was always the center of attraction wherever she went. Her status and beauty made her admirable and envious.

She became even more curious since neither her beauty nor her aura seemed to affect him.

A mischievous thought appeared in her mind as she smiled glancing towards Loki.
