Knock knock
"Come in." A deep voice resounded from the room.
I entered Father's office and glanced at the room.
The office was a large room filled with neatly arranged files and documents. A sturdy table was placed right in the middle, beside a window from which the air flowed gently through the room. Father was sitting on his chair, rummaging through the files. The air was quite tense around him as if he was waiting for the moment to unleash his anger.
"Father," I called out as he locked his eyes with mine.
"I wish to train my body before my awakening."
The silence that followed was oppressive. We stared at each other, the weight of his expectations and my own determination hanging in the air between us.
sigh
"I've been urging you to practice the family's body-strengthening art, but you were always lazy and complaining. Did yesterday's accident strengthen your resolve, or is this just a facade?" William sighed as he harshly criticized me, causing me to flinch upon hearing the cold tone.
"I've decided to continue my training. I don't want to feel helpless like yesterday." I clenched my fist, and William's gaze softened slightly.
For a moment, Father's gaze softened, just a fraction. "Alright. I will trust you this time. But do not disappoint me again," he said, his voice carrying a hint of the hope he rarely showed.
A gentle knock interrupted our conversation.
"Come in."
"Master, the culprits have been found, and I've ordered the Raven squad to stand by for your orders," announced an old man in his fifties wearing a typical butler outfit as he entered the room.
"Alfred, we're annihilating them," William ordered as he stood up and proceeded outside with the butler.
"Son, you can use the training ground to practice the family's body-strengthening art. I will prepare a teacher for your combat training," William said before disappearing with Alfred.
"Thank you, Father." I bowed slightly and then marched towards the training room with a book in my hand. The book was named [Grimheart Reinforcement Sutra].

Training Ground
"First, synchronize your breathing with your heart. Second, try to control the Eden present in your body. Third, ..." I fully immersed myself in the book, finding it quite complicated.
cough cough
A rough cough broke my concentration. I looked up to see a middle-aged man, his face a map of scars and his presence commanding. He had a stoic demeanor, and I could tell he had a rough personality.
"Young Master, I am John, your combat teacher from today. I will be training your body and teaching you basic weapon arts." John bowed slightly, then brought out a wooden sword and placed it before me.
"Let's start with 25 push-ups, 25 sit-ups, 5 laps of this training ground, and 25 horizontal swings." He roughly commanded, causing me to jolt up and quickly pick up the sword.
"But my first priority is the family art—"
"Young Master," John interrupted, "you can't practice it until you have a proper physique. And you don't. Not yet."
"Alright. Stop yelling at me, I'm starting," I grumbled, picking up the sword and dropping to the ground to begin my exercises.

After Training
Huff huff
"Son of a bitch..." Laying on the ground like a dead fish, I cursed at that bastard.
"I shall take my leave then," John stated and left the ground.
sigh
"Why do other MCs have an easy life with harems and shit while I'm out here training my ass off just to survive," I growled as Bella came over to help this sorry ass of mine.

Three Years Later
A little boy with short blackish-purple hair and shining silver eyes sat at a table, sipping his drink and reading a book.
"Young Master, the dinner table is ready," a cute voice echoed from behind as he stood up and proceeded towards the dining room with his maid.
Four people could be seen enjoying their meal at the dining table. They were Loki and his parents, along with a newly added member of the household.
The new member was a little girl who looked like a younger version of Amelia, with long purple hair, shining silver eyes filled with innocence, and a little body brimming with boundless energy.
She was Kiara Grimheart, my cute little sister who was just 3 years old.
Yep, you heard it right. I have a little sister who is cute, chubby, full of energy, and adorable.
"Son," Father began, his tone more relaxed than usual, "your awakening is next week. You don't have to attend training now. Rest and clear your mind."
"Yes, Father," I replied, nodding.
"Yayyy! Brother can play with me now!" Kiara excitedly cheered as she started pestering Loki.
"Alright, Kia, I will play with you today. Now, finish your meal," I replied, looking at her helplessly.
"Hehehe... Kay!" She giggled and continued her meal.
---
"Brother, let's play on the swing while you tell me a story," Kiara beamed as we roamed around the flower garden.
"Alright, my little goblin." I smiled at her as I heard her giggles.
"Once upon a time, there was a crow..."

William's Office
Back in his office, William and Alfred were deep in discussion, their voices low and serious.
"Alfred, is the preparation regarding the awakening completed?" William inquired of his butler as he checked the documents.
"The preparations are completed, Master. Other members have also been informed, both from the main family and the branch family. Madam Claire's children will be attending the awakening with Young Master Loki," Alfred stated professionally.
"Good. Inform John that his role as a teacher is complete," William ordered. Alfred nodded and left the room after bowing slightly.
"I hope the awakening is completed successfully," William sighed and gazed outside the window.
"Let's check how much he has improved after his training," William thought, considering sparring with his son tomorrow.
---
A sudden chill went down my spine, distracting me from the story.
"Brother, what happened next?!" Kiara questioned with childish curiosity.
"Oh... Afterward, the crow picked some stones from the ground and..."
Loki enjoyed his time with his little sister, oblivious to the chaos that he would cause at his awakening.
