[Aurora's new Apartment]
"You couldn't shut up about us not being late yesterday - but look at you now. " Kane remarked, dressed sharply in a tailored black suit and tie. He watched Aurora running around the room, trying to get ready.
"Look, I'm sorry, I didn't hear the alarm," Aurora replied, flustered as she hurriedly prepared herself.
Kane smirked as he leaned against the doorframe, arms folded. "Sure, blame it on the alarm. I might not know you well but even I can tell punctuality isn't your strong suit."
Aurora shot him a playful glare as she struggled to fasten a button on her blouse. "Give me a break I'm new at this."
Aurora finally managed to secure her blouse and grabbed her purse. "I'm ready now. Let's go."
"Just so you know, I'm not speeding up just because you suck at timekeeping," said Kane.
"Okay, fine - let's go. I can't be late on my first day of work," replied Aurora.
