In The South Heart Forest,
The archduke and his party were inside the forest. They were running, and their cloaks were floating in the air. Suddenly the Archduke stopped. Immediately, his party also stopped.
"What happened, why did my lord stop?"
Richard asked as he looked around the forest.
"I sensed magic. And it's a powerful one. Juri, you can cast a magic barrier. Linda, you have to save your energy."
The Archduke ordered them to do what they were both capable of. Juri has reflection, protection power and Lina has Super Healing power.
"Yes, Your excellency."
Both Juri and Linda agree with Archduke and take their position.
"And Richard, you will fight with me. If needed, you also have to protect both Linda and Juri."
The Archduke said to Richard,
"What does he have to do?"
Rechard nodded, his hand instinctively reaching for the sword at his side.
"I'm ready, Your Excellency,"
He said, his eyes scanning the surrounding area for any sign of danger.
As Aren and Richard charged forward with their swords drawn, they expected the magical beasts to be blown back by their attacks. But to their surprise, the creatures barely flinched. The blades sliced through the air, biting deep into the creatures' scales, but seemed to have no effect.
The beasts simply shrugged off the attacks, their eyes fixed on Aren and Fedric with an unblinking gaze. It was as if they were impervious to pain, or perhaps even invincible.
The two warriors exchanged a worried glance. They knew that they couldn't keep this up for much longer. Their swords were not designed to harm magical creatures of this caliber.
Just as they were about to fall back and regroup, a sudden burst of inspiration struck Aren. He remembered the words of the old wizard, who had told him that some magical creatures could only be harmed by weapons imbued with magic.
Aren quickly reached into his pack and pulled out a small pouch of enchanted dust. He tossed it into the air, and the fine powder burst into a brilliant flash of light. When the light faded, Aren's sword shone with a soft blue glow.
Richard, sensing his friend's plan, did the same. His sword erupted in a fiery blaze of orange light.
With their magical swords at the ready, Aren and Richard charged forward once more. This time, their attacks bit deep into the magical beasts. The creatures let out pained howls as they stumbled backward, their bodies writhing in agony.
The party watched in awe as Aren and Richard carved through the beasts with ease. The creatures were no match for their magical blades.
"Aaa"
Linda's cry echoed through the forest, sending a chill down the spines of her companions. The party turned to see what had happened, and their hearts sank as they saw Linda stumbling backward, her eyes wide with shock.
Without hesitation, Juri leaped forward, her hands weaving intricate patterns in the air. A shimmering barrier erupted around Linda, protecting her from the grasping claws of the magical beasts. The creatures howled in frustration, their attacks deflected by the barrier.
Aren and Richard charged forward, their magical swords flashing in the dim light. The beasts were relentless, but the party fought on, determined to protect Linda and drive back the attackers.
As they fought, the surrounding forest began to darken. The trees seemed to twist and writhe, their branches reaching out like skeletal fingers. The air grew thick with an eerie mist, making it difficult to see more than a few feet in front of them.
The party fought on, their movements swift and precise. But despite their skill, they couldn't shake the feeling that they were being pulled deeper into the heart of the forest. The darkness seemed to be drawing them in, pulling them down into some hidden depths from which they might never escape.
The leader of the magical beasts, its eyes blazing with malevolent intent, raised its clawed hand and cast a spell of dark magic. Richard felt the air thicken around him, and a searing pain shot through his chest. He stumbled, his vision blurring, and fell to the ground, his sword slipping from his grasp.
Linda rushed to his side, her face etched with concern.
"Sir Richard, hold on a second!"
She exclaimed, her hands glowing with a soft blue light.
The leader of the magical beasts cackles with glee, his eyes fixed on Richard's prone form. But Linda was undeterred. She reached out and touched Richard's forehead, channeling her healing magic onto him. The wound began to close, and Richard's breathing slowed to a more natural rhythm.
Juri, sensing the urgency of the situation, created a new barrier around Linda and Richard, protecting them from the magical beasts' attacks. The creatures howled in frustration, their claws and teeth snapping against the impenetrable shield.
Aren, determined to avenge his friend's near-death experience, charged forward once more. This time, he faced off against the leader of the magical beasts alone. The two enemies clashed in a flurry of steel and sorcery, their battle echoing through the darkening forest.
The leader of the magical beasts was powerful, its magic weaving together in complex patterns that seemed to defy explanation. But Aren was no slouch either. He parried each blow with precision, his sword flashing in the dim light.
As the battle raged on, the air was filled with the sound of clashing steel and the scent of ozone. The leader of the magical beasts seemed to be gaining the upper hand, its magic growing stronger with each passing moment. Aren's sword arm began to tire, his movements slowing as he struggled to keep pace with the beast's relentless attacks.
But Aren refused to give up. He had come too far to let his friend's near-death experience be in vain. With a fierce cry, he launched himself at the beast, his sword flashing in a desperate bid to turn the tide of the battle.
The leader of the magical beasts laughed, his eyes blazing with malevolent glee. With a flick of its clawed hand, it sent a blast of dark magic hurtling towards Aren. The warrior tried to dodge, but the spell was too fast, too powerful. It struck him with a blast of energy that sent him flying across the clearing.
