Chapter 13 - Came back to senses !

The companions walked in silence, their footsteps echoing off the eerie landscape. They felt a sense of unease growing within them, a sense of uncertainty and trepidation. For they knew that they were not walking towards a physical destination, but towards the depths of their own souls.

As they journeyed on, the darkness deepened, and the air grew colder. The companions could feel the weight of their own doubts and fears bearing down upon them. They felt the crushing pressure of their own insecurities, the whispering voices of self-doubt and uncertainty.

And yet, despite the terror that threatened to consume them, they pressed on. For they knew that they had to face themselves, to confront the demons that haunted them. They had to look into the mirror of their own souls, and gaze upon their true reflections.

As they walked, the darkness began to take shape around them. Vague forms began to materialize, like ghostly apparitions from the shadows. The companions could feel their own fears and doubts manifesting before them, taking on tangible forms that seemed to writhe and twist in agony.

Aren's eyes widened as he saw his own shadowy reflection looming before him. It was a dark and twisted thing, its face contorted in a snarl of hatred and fear. He felt a surge of revulsion wash over him, but he did not turn away. He reached out a hand, and touched his own reflection.

And as he did so, the darkness began to dissipate. The form began to fade away, replaced by a glimmer of light. Aren felt a warmth spreading through him, a sense of peace and understanding.

He turned to his companions, and saw that they too were facing their own fears. Linda's reflection was a delicate flower, its petals unfolding like a lotus bloom. Aren's was a fiery creature, its flames burning bright with passion and creativity.

As they gazed upon their reflections, they felt their true selves begin to emerge. They felt their fears and doubts melting away, replaced by a sense of purpose and direction.

And when they finally emerged from the darkness, they were no longer the same people. They were transformed, reborn from the ashes of their old selves like phoenixes rising from the flames.

They stood together, united in their newfound understanding. And as they looked out upon the world around them, they knew that they were ready for anything that lay ahead. For they had faced themselves, and emerged victorious.

As they gazed out upon the world, they saw it with fresh eyes. The landscape was bathed in a warm, golden light, as if the very sun itself had risen anew. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and the gentle songs of birds echoed through the air.

The companions stood there, united and strong, their bond forged in the fires of their own self-discovery. They knew that they were no longer the same individuals they had been before, but something more. They were no longer defined by their fears and doubts, but by their courage and resilience.

And as they looked out upon the world, they saw that it was also transformed. The mountains rose higher and grander than before, their peaks shining like diamonds in the sunlight. The rivers flowed with a newfound clarity, their waters sparkling like a thousand tiny stars.

The companions knew that they had been given a gift - the gift of a new beginning. They knew that they would face challenges ahead, but they were no longer alone. They were together, united in their strength and their determination.

And as they walked forward, they felt the weight of their journey lifting from their shoulders. They felt the wind at their backs, pushing them forward towards a brighter future. They knew that they would always stand together, united in their quest for self-discovery and growth.

As they disappeared into the distance, the landscape behind them began to fade away. The mountains disappeared, the rivers evaporated, and the flowers wilted. But the companions remained, their bond growing stronger with each step.

For they knew that they had found something truly special - something that could not be taken away from them. They had found themselves, and in doing so, they had found each other.

Areen's Pov ended.

"Here He is!"

Juri saw Aren lying on the ground. And she ran over him. Linda and Richard were also running towards him.

"Aren!"

Linda tried to shake Aren's shoulders by grabbing both of her hands to wake him up. But he had no responses.

"Heal! Heal! Heal!

Linda cast Heal magic on Aren's chest three times. Aren gained his consciousness little by little. He heard some voices calling for him.

"Aren! Aren. Get up. Open your eyes."

Linda took Aren's head and placed it on her lap. And she called Aren's name.

"Your Excellency". Can you hear us?"

Richard and juri asked him too.

Suddenly Aren opened his eyes. He saw Linda was crying, and he was on Linda's lap. And Richard and Juri both of them also cried.

After that, he sat down and Richard hugged him tightly and forbade him to do some reckless things on his own..

"You scared us. Don't do it again."

"Okay, okay! I get it, and I'm sorry for all that I made you worry.

He humbly replied and asked forgiveness.

"It will be dawn soon. Let's get out of the jungle first. And we all need rest."

Linda proposed to everyone to head out of the jungle.

"Okay, let's go." Everyone agreed with her and nodded.

After that, Richard helped Aren to stand up and walked him properly. They went back to their tent.

"Where will we go now, Your Excellency? Will we come back to the Lancaster kingdom? Though it was inappropriate, the duke was all missing at the same time, and we left the hall without saying anything to anybody on an important day. And we had not greeted the new king yet. Also, we do not even know what the new king is. So, I think we should head back to the Lancaster Kingdom and make preparations for welcoming the new king."

Juri wonders what they should do now. And she gave her opinion too.

"To be continued

Stay tuned"
