'She's not upset?' she thought inwardly, wondering if she had misread the situation entirely. Yuna had a tendency to be lost in thought, often getting caught up in her own mind. And now, as she stood there, she wondered if she had done it again - had she over thought this situation with Kaida too?
"Hmm?" Kaida queried, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
Yuna hesitated, unsure of what to say. "No, I'll just go freshen up" she finally replied, trying to sound casual. With that, she made her way upstairs to her room.

As Yuna changed into her cozy pajamas, she freshened up and hurried to the dining area, her stomach growling with anticipation. But to her surprise, Kaida was nowhere to be found.
She scanned the room, her eyes searching for any sign of the housekeeper, but Kaida was absent. Instead, her gaze landed on a steaming hot dish, perfectly portioned for one person.
Yuna's mind wandered as she realized that Kaida must have prepared the meal specifically for her, but a nagging question lingered - wasn't Kaida going to eat as well?
With no other option, Yuna took her seat and began to eat, the flavors dancing on her taste buds. However, as she savored each bite, she couldn't shake off a familiar feeling that had become all too familiar before Kaida's arrival - the feeling of loneliness. It was a pang that struck her heart, a reminder that she was indeed alone in this grand house. And as she chewed, an ironic smile crept onto her face, a bitter acknowledgment that even in the midst of a warm meal, the silence and emptiness still lingered.

After finishing her meal, Yuna headed to the kitchen sink to wash her dishes, but her eyes landed on a note on the counter that read: "Leave your dishes here, I'll wash them later." She immediately recognized the handwriting but despite the note, she decided to ignore it and washed her dishes herself, her mind wandering to the events of the day.
As she dried her hands and walked over to the living room couch, her thoughts shifted into overdrive. "Why am I stressing this so much?" she asked herself aloud, trying to rationalize her emotions. "It's not like what I said was wrong or anything.... I mean, she's just a housekeeper, and housekeepers aren't meant to meddle in the lives of their employers." She continued to defend her actions, trying to convince herself that she had done nothing wrong.
