Chapter 6: Sister's Departure
As Astrid walked towards the house, he continuously thought of how his training has been going on during the past 5 years or in total, how his life has been during this past five years.
For starters, he was taken to be checked on whether he would a mage, Swordsman, or Magic Swordsman. He was meant to turn out as a Mage, but due to the system's interference (Thank the gods) he was lucky turn out as a Magic Swordsman.
His father was very happy that day and decided to take full responsibility of his one and only son's training.
His training was harsh, incredibly so, to put so much stress on top a 3 year old child was never seen or heard of, but Astrid blames himself. He should have just acted foolish and stupid, like a normal child, but instead, he displayed wisdom and a mentality that he can handle anything his father there at him. Now he was paying the price.
As for his sisters, he had three of them, like in his old life, except this one's actually cared more for him than those ones.
Laura, was the first child. She turned 20 this year and was 15 when Astrid was born. She was the one with brains among the two and the only matured one among them. She was a Mercenary Swordsman, and at such a young age as well, a talent seen once in every generation.
Beth, was the second child. She is turning 17 this year and was 12 when Astrid was born. Astrid hated her the most, since she always took any opportunity when they were alone to dress him up like a girl. Who does that to a boy anyway, he knew he looked like a girl but still, what weird quirks. She was a Spellweaver and was personally trained by my mother, making her the strongest in among the trio.
And lastly was Aria, the third child. She turned 15 this year and was 10 when Astrid was born. Astrid has never admitted it before but she was his favorite. He spared with her the most and talked with her the most. She was already a squire and was going to the Academy today.
The other two were already at the academy, and they had already made waves in the Academy, breaking records, being the top of all their classes and making their Father proud.
Astrid wad so lost in thought, that he didn't even know when he had reached the house, only being awakened by the workers in the house welcoming him. "Welcome back young master, we hope your training went well. The Mistress has been expecting your return."
"Yeah, yeah! I know, thank you either way." He replied as he walked into the house.
The world of Swords and Sorcery was a mixture of technology from the modern era, and things from the medieval era as well.
So it was no surprise to see a few technological gadget here and there, scattered around the house.
"Son! Your finally home, why did you take so long" His mother said as she walked towards him.
He replied with a bright smile on his face, "Nothing, just lost in thought....that's all."
She looked at him with a worried expression, her son was to smart for his age, and that left her always worried. "Your sister will be leaving now...you should go and tell her bye, before she leaves."
"I know...I will meet her after i take a shower, it won't take long." He said, waving his hands while heading towards upstairs, towards his room.
His mother could only stare at his back as he walked away, before sighing and going on to continue the business she was attending before.
They have never bathed him since he turned three. He already knew how to bath and cloth himself which suprised the family. They where shocked at the amount of mental strength he had that allowed him act as though he was a rebellious teenager.
Upon reaching his room, Astrid opened the door. His room had the same interior design it had during his past life, a television, a cupboard, a bathroom, and so on.
'Sigh! Once again entering the room to see a blank TV.' he thought sadly as he took off his clothes and entered the bathroom. His television was off always because there was both nothing to watch that interested him in the first place. After all he was literally living in an anime, what more does he need. Is not as of there are Anime's created in this world as well.
After taking a long shower, he changed into his casual clothes, sweat pants and a sweat shirt, before he headed downstairs once more.
He could already see his father, mother and sister at the front of the house, saying their goodbyes to her before she left. He could even hear some of the words they where saying.
"Make sure to take care of yourself...if you need anything, ask your elder sisters" her mother said
"Don't forget to show them why you are a Starlight...show them that we will remain the strongest house...be overpowered...make an impact, just like your sisters." Her father hurriedly added.
"Don't worry guys, I got this..." Aria replied, making them sigh in relief.
"...Where is Astrid by the way...I can't go without seeing his annoying face."
"You bitch...you think I didn't hear you" Astrid shouted, running towards the door while a vein popped on his head.
"Hahahahaha...yo little bro..."
"...don't little bro me! How dare you defile my beautiful face by calling it annoying." Astrid cut her words, fumes coming out of his nose.
"...Hurry up and catch up, I will be waiting at the Central city...we need to have our last duel after all."
"Don't worry...you will see how strong I will become...so strong that even dad will fear me." Astrid proclaimed loudly with a gaunt expression on his face.
"Yess...that's my boy...wait what??" His father replied.. confused... "You stupid child?"
His father slapped the back of Astrid's head, making him shout in pain, his father began scolding him making his mother and sister laugh.
"I will be on my way now... Till next year I guess" Aria said as she stepped into the car that was waiting for her. As the car drove away. She could here there screams of goodbyes, making her to shed tears.
"... Now you... You and your big mouth...follow me to the training grounds...I shalltrain you myself today....let's see how far you've progressed."
