Chapter 33 - 33

When Gene gave the order, Zimo's arms transformed into sharp blades and stretched out beyond its reach as the blades sliced at a high speed toward the vampire hunters.

Each slice was difficult to follow with the eyes of an ordinary person and it was likely that a single cut of them could tear through very durable materials.

Among parasite-type alien life forms, Zimo was the type that could inhabit a host body while killing it and taking over it entirely.

When it gained control over the body, the body would become its own and it would be able to perform certain feats as it learned more.

The body Zimo took over was too weak and small previously to do anything useful but after it transformed its body, it could perform larger and more powerful feats the stronger it became.

Many cuts landed on the bodies of the new enemies who were quick to take the same serum.

The cuts stopped being as effective as they regenerated at a rapid rate and increased their endurance and strength.

They broke past the swinging blades like berserkers and kept charging forward without stopping.

More gunshots came toward them from far away which managed to put holes in them and slowed them down.

Gene was locked in a battle with one of them and sent it flying up into the air.

Her hands formed a heart shape then her energy gathered in between them. "Love Love Beam!"

A large blast went upward into the sky and surrounded the berserker causing them to be broken down so rapidly that it could not regenerate.

Zimo was exchanging blows while dodging most of the others to help delay them and keep their attention when Gene jumped in to help out.

Meanwhile, as they were locked in combat, Toki had finished gathering her magic power and began casting her spell. "It is ready!"

Her magic spread out to her surroundings creating a zone around her that froze everyone in place like they had been frozen in time.

A smile formed on her lips as she walked up to the berserkers and jumped up to bite each of their necks sinking her fangs into them. "So bothersome..."
