"Because you are my maid," he replied, moving toward the book shelf.
"But…I hate you." She cursed.
"I am fine with it," he smiled, picking up a novel to read.
"Why do you read novels so often?" She noticed he was always reading and did not seem to take breaks when he was alone, so she asked.
"You never know until you try it yourself," he said, tossing the novel in his hand.
"You are not finished reading, sit." He said and it was then Tessa realized it was the novel she was reading to him. She had completely forgotten about it.
Tessa spent the rest of the afternoon reading Elias a novel, only leaving when he had business to attend to.
