"It appears that you do not understand the situation here, your mate has just thirty minutes to live. You should receive a report soon," she said, informing him of the severity of the situation.
A hurried knock broke their stare, and Elias walked up to the door to find out who it was.
"Speak?" Not opening the door, he ordered.
"Alpha King, Consort Tessa has been poisoned. We have contacted the doctor, but he says he needs an hour to determine the poison. What should we do?" Rio revealed everything as expected, and Elias' wolf, Eli, threatened to tear Alice apart.
'Can you feel her pain?' Elias questioned Eli, who shook his head.
'There is nothing, it could be a painless poison. Only witches were capable of making it, that Alice girl wasn't lying.' Eli replied, and Elias' gaze darkened.
