Rosa stepped down from the swaying, bone-jarring carriage into the desert night that had been a brutal companion. Her legs were unsteady from the endless dunes, and her head pounded with a nauseous ring in her ears. The journey, much like the entire day, had left her feeling as if the very sand had infiltrated her veins leaving her parched and dizzy.
"Bath and then bed, please. Nothing more tonight," she let out a soft prayer.
Rosa owed Kael a huge thank you for sending news to Erland behind her back, he was interfering in her business, but he still earned successful results. She was planning on properly showing her appreciation if she saw him in his chamber, but that was a long shot. "Haha," She laughed at the irony of how much that simple fact bothered her.
...I'm in trouble.
