Ebony rolled out from bed and decided it was time to face her smaller fears than Rayven. Going to school. She did her morning routine as quickly as possible, opened a can of tuna for her cat by filling his bowl with water, and ran out of the door with her things. She knew Time would already be at the door waiting for her but was surprised to see Veronica also waiting by the door with a huge grin.
''Hi, bestie!''
''Good morning,'' Ebony greeted back.
''You are up early for school?''
Veronica held her arms as they pushed through the door and welcomed the early September breeze.
''So, how did it go? Did our little friend find a place in Rayven's room last night?''
Ebony nodded as Time drove with another car to the entrance.
