Ebony had several thoughts as she left Veronica's room to hers. She didn't expect Damon to add to her list of worries about tonight. He cornered her in the hallway, scaring her at his sudden appearance in the dark space surrounding them. She looked at him and asked him what he wanted.
''You really need to be more careful Ebony about who and who you provide access to a floor where my brother also dwells. Today, someone spotted him at his worst and said you were responsible. Rayven is too blinded by you and ordered not to punish you in any way for your mistake, but that won't prevent me from giving you a warning.'' The demon stepped closer as he gazed down at her with his devil eyes. ''Any other slip up from you concerning my brother's privacy I will be forced to move you out from his floor to another place.''
