Soon she got tired and began to doze off on the chair she was seated in. It was already getting late, and it was hours past her bedtime. Rayven noticed and paused what he was doing. He approached her and gently tried to wake her up by calling her name, but she was already deep into her sleep. He leaned on his hands holding both sides of the chair as he watched her head sway left and right, eyes closed and so deep in sleep. He then noticed she was the type that quickly falls to sleep. He stopped her movements with his hand placed under her head with a smile. A smile only her could pull on his lips.
Once again, he was so glad she didn't choose to leave him like he feared and while gazing at her sleeping form in his hands, he promised to give her a reason to stay with him even after she was successful in redeeming him and wanted to go.
''I bet Hale would have just watched you fall off this chair.''
Ebony sounded in disagreement as if hearing his words.
