Somewhere in a grand, and well dignified living room where almost every part of it were ornamented with golden statues and luxurious interior decor and designs. Which simply screamed out nothing but abundant wealth and affluence.
At first glance the living room appeared more like a magnificent hall, but rather it was just a living room, but definitely built for the wealthies. Multiple fine huge portraits could be seen hung atop the walls neatly, and luxurious chandeliers also, which added to the beauty of the golden living room.
Fluffy golden colored couches were arranged in a circular pattern, and upfront the couches was a gigantic golden throne encrusted with white diamonds, rubies and gemstones. And sitted on the throne was King Axel himself, and apparently he appears to be asleep as his eyes were sharply closed. And his head was slightly tilted to the side, causing his golden crown to also shift from his head slightly.
He was dressed in a white and golden attire. A white shirt, and a golden trousers, and was also wearing a huge and fluffy golden coat above his outfit, perhaps due to the cold. His orange hairs were perfectly combed and smoothly made as though it had never been touched by water, and as though it was the raging sun itself.
It was almost afternoon, and Axel appeared to be sleeping. And with the look of things, he also appears to be having a nightmare. The nightmare which had always bothered him for years now since the day he had ascended the throne of Sunria Kingdom.
There was not a day that he would close his eyes to sleep at night that he wouldn't have the nightmare. Although after all this years, Daphne had finally found a way to lessen the rate of the nightmares—by burning incense sticks for him before he sleeps at night.
However this time it appears that instead of his nightmares happening at night, he had already started to have them in the morning rather, which had never happened before.
In the nightmare;
Axel could see himself standing at a particular area, in front of him was the blue sea. And he appears to be staring at it also.
Suddenly from where he was he could see someone standing on the seashore, and the figure of the person appeared to be that of woman, but he couldn't see her face as she was facing towards the sea, and glancing at the horizons. But she had a very long white hairs that was being carried by the winds.
Suddenly the woman turned backwards towards him. And apparently she had no face either except for a mouth, which she used in whispering to him;
"Axel…!" she called out to him with a sweet and enticing voice. But Axel just stood there and watched her curiously like a robot.
After a long wait, the woman called again, this time much louder than before;
"Axel!"
Then the most delicate and warmest smile penetrated her lips and the next moment the woman turned away from Axel, and instantly began walking towards the seashore even more, then into the sea as the sea carried the neat flowing yellow gown she was wearing.
"Wait Miss! Don't go any farther! You'll drown!" Axel eventually found himself exclaiming to the woman pitifully. Still not moving from the spot though or making any attempts to stop her from going farther.
The woman stopped then turned back again to look at Axel from distance away.
"Axel!" she whispered with the divine smile still on her lips. Although she only called him once. In spite of that her enticing voice resounded all around the peripherals strangely, as though it was the universe that was saying his name.
Then afterwards the woman began moving closer into deep blue sea as though it was her home and as though it was calling to her.
"Wait Miss! I said stop! If you go any farther you'll drown!" Axel found himself yelling once again.
And before he knew it he found himself darting towards the direction of woman, hoping to save her and pull her out of the sea. However, when he got to the seashore it was too late and the woman had already went deep into the sea, out of his reach, and out of his sight as though she disappeared into the sea.
He then stopped running as he continued staring into the sea in front of him. And soon began hearing multiple echoes and whispers of his name being said closely to his ears. He couldn't tell which direction they were all coming from, but all he knew was that it was disturbing and extremely creepy.
"Axel! Axel! Axel!" The strange voice calling him became louder, causing him to cover his ears bitterly as his ears were already starting to bleed severely.
And before he knew it. From where he stood on the seashore, he could see his own body laying next to him on the sandy seashore. And for some reasons he appeared dead and covered in red liquids, as though he had been slained, and defeated on the seashore, and apparently he was wearing an armor also, as though he had just finished engaging in a battle and was killed amidst it.
Axel's eyes widened in horror seeing his own body laying next to him on the floor dead, and hopeless!
Before he could react, suddenly his visions began to blur and with that he was awakened back to reality.
Sluggishly he opened his eyes. And his eyes met with the abundant piercing light of the enormous chandeliers above the ceiling, causing him to close them back almost immediately after opening them.
'Again with this stupid dreams!' He thought haggardly. Finally opening his eyes once again to welcome reality.
'I thought this dreams were only supposed to happen at night. I can't believe it's starting to happen at broad daylight also. Doesn't seem quite fair, if you ask me,' Axel shooked his head lightly.
He then sighed.
Adjusting himself and his golden crown much more properly. Axel massaged the side of his head with his thumb trivially as though he was having an headache.
'When will this stupid dream even stop?' He complained inwardly, as he leaned his body back on his gigantic golden throne.
Staring forward, Axel could discern two figures coming towards him.
It was a Knight. His second most loyal Knight, after Desmond, it was Knight Amaar. He was dressed in a fine shiny armor, similar to that of Desmond's own, he appears to be someone who was perhaps in his late twenties also just like King Axel. He had black hairs, and his facials didn't seem too bad either.
He was holding onto the hand of a smart looking young boy, an eleven years old boy to be well precised. The young boy was dressed in a furry royal attire too just like King Axel. His black shoes were well polished, and his white attires fitted his small frame perfectly, he had some refreshing black hairs and an extremely clean blanche skin.
"Greetings, Your Majesty!" Knight Amaar greeted King Axel with a trivial head bow. He continued, "Your Majesty I'm here to inform you that the carriage is ready. And that you can proceed with your visit to the neighbouring town as you've planned earlier."
Axel sighed, "Took you long enough," he mumbled in displeasure under his breaths. "You should know that I need to be there early so as to have enough time to discuss the matter appropriately. And since I'm not planning to stay there for long, then I should at least be there early, shouldn't I?!" King Axel fumed.
Since he had been waiting for the carriage to be prepared for so long, that he had even fallen asleep whilst at it. So he felt displeased by this.
Bowing his head even more, Amaar spontaneously went down on one knee, feeling bad for what he had done. "My apologies Your Majesty. The carriage had indeed been prepared a long time ago, but when I came to call you earlier. You had already fallen asleep. And I dared not wake you up!" Amaar stated with his face aiming towards the smooth floor in dread.
Scratching the side of his head, Axel decided to calm down, "Get up Amaar, nevermind about it. You can wait for me at the carriage I'll be right there with you soon," Axel instructed. Knowing that it was his fault, he didn't really know why he occasionally falls asleep too much this days. It's only been a few minutes wait and he was already fast asleep and only to have such an annoying dream to top it all.
Amaar got up from his knee as instructed, he left the hand of the young boy. Then walked away and towards the entrance of the castle as instructed, leaving only the young boy and Axel alone in the living room.
Axel looked down at the young boy standing before him. Twitching his eyebrows.
