I always knew that what the future contains would be something unexpected and will blow....hold up, hold up, I'm not an inspirational speaker! Heck, I'm not even a good adviser!!
Ace walked into my room while I wrote this rubbish and said
"Master requires your presence in the Black room"
Without waiting for my reply, he left. Hearing him say 'Black room' meant it was something extremely important. I stood up immediately,put on my mask before heading for the Black room. I knocked on his door three times before pushing it open then I placed all my weapons on the table, not far from the door before going further as the rules states. When I got to the main room, I knelt on one knee and bowed my head because it was forbidden to to look at the master without his permission.
"Master Zain!"
I said and waited for him to tell me why he summoned me
"Bella, rise and come forward"
"Yes master"
I stood up then walked to where he sat. He gestured for me to sit on a chair opposite his and I obeyed.
" You must be wondering why I summoned you this late right?"
"Yes master"
He smiled then said
" For the past six years that you have been here, you have performed excellently and diligently. You always made sure to complete each task perfectly without any flaws and I can't be more proud of you. You've risked your life in order to keep us safe and your juniors, you always guide whenever they needed help "
I creased my brows as I heard him. Why is he suddenly saying all this?
" I'm flattered master, I was just obeying your commands. I wouldn't be here without your guidance "
He laughed heartily and Said
"You sure know how to use your words "
His face then turned serious, causing me to gulp. This was the face he makes when something very important is to be said
"That's the reason what I'm about to say will break my heart, for it will cause me pain immersely"
My heart sank as I heard his statement. This sounds much worse than I expected it to be! I waited for him to finish his statement as I unconsciously held my breath.
"Bella, you are relieved of your duties. You have exceeded the time to be spent here and that was because I was reluctant to let you go. You are one of the best I have had as a desciple and I'm proud to have you as my desciple. You are free to go back to your family and enjoy your life however you wished. Know that you are always welcome here. You shall be returning to home with Ace as you both have earned your dismissal"
I released my breath as I stated at him bewildered. Here I was, expecting the worse news! I nearly cried to express my joy as I heard this news but I had to stay calm in the master's presence. Standing up, I immediately bowed deeply and said
"Thank you so much Master Zain! I shall come to visit when I have spare time. Thank you"
I said with so much joy. He laughed then stood, walked towards me and engulfed me in a hug which I gladly reciprocated. After we broke the hug, he said
" Go pack your things and prepare for your departure at 6:00am sharp tomorrow. You shall be departing with your partner, Ace."
"Yes Master Zain"
I then bowed my head and said
" I shall be taking my leave"
I walked out of the main room then picked all my weapons and walked to my room. As I dropped noisily on my bed, I heard three knocks on the wall beside my bed. Knowing it was Ace because our rooms was divided by a wall,I knocked three times too, letting him know that he had my full attention.
"How do you feel?"
He asked
"I feel like I'm walking on air right now. Why did you have to scare me like that when you came to call me?"
He laughed and replied
"I wanted you to feel the same way I felt when I was summoned too"
I laughed with him before saying
" So you'll be going back home?"
There was silence for a while before he said
"I don't think they'll be happy to see me. After all, they hired assassins to kill me"
I sighed deeply. His family is really a mess.
"Do you mind if I come with you?"
He asked, surprising me
" You want to come home with me to my house?"
I asked, thinking I heard wrong.
" yeah, I got nowhere to go to and besides, we're inseparable remember?"
I chuckled then said
" fine, as long as you play nice to my siblings "
" yes ma'am! "
He said with a strange voice.
" go to sleep! You both have to leave for home well rested!"
We heard our Master's voice coming from the hallway.
" yes Master Zain! Goodnight!"
Ace half yelled. I chuckled then spoke out
" goodnight Master Zain!"
" sleep well both of you!"
He said before we heard footsteps. When we could no longer hear the sound of his footsteps , Ace spoke
" I almost pissed my pants "
I laughed in a quieter way, to avoid disturbing others.
" goodnight Ace"
I said as I got drousy
" night Bella"
