" Ace! This way!"
I yelled to Ace because he was a little behind
" okay! Just be careful and don't get hit!"
He yelled back. We went to different places like, the bridge, tried the bus, bought snacks on the way, and even went sightseeing! But then, our trip had to come to an end because we noticed that it was getting dark and Neon's meeting might have even ended. If Neon finds out that we snuck out, we would be in serious trouble.
When we got into the building, we saw a group of men, well dressed in black suits but the guy at the middle wore casual clothing. He wore a black hoodie with an ash joggers, making him look like he just came out for a walk. One might even say he was a relative of the boss who came to visit the building. I too thought the same thing when I saw him! We had to move aside to make way for them to pass through but most importantly, to avoid Neon from noticing us from among the group of men. But unlucky for us, right as the group of men reached out point, the guy in casual clothing spoke
" stop! "
And all the well dressed men obeyed. That moment, I realised he was in fact the Boss! However, I didn't bother about that instead I asked myself, why would he stop them when he got to our point?! I then briefly looked at Neon only for me to see him staring deeply at him and he does not look pleased!
Just as we were having this little staring contest, the boss walked up to us and asked
" who let you both in?"
Neon then walked out of the group and said
" they're with ...."
" I didn't ask you Neon. I was talking to them"
His boss interrupted Neon harshly.
" sorry sir"
Neon bowed his head. I, on other hand, disliked the way he spoke to my beloved elder brother so, I spoke up
" I'm Neon's younger sister and this is Ace, my twin. I honestly wanted to address you with respect but from the way you spoke to my brother, I think I'll pass on that "
Neon immediately looked at me with pleading eyes and so did the rest of the group of men. What?! Did I say something wrong? At that moment, the boss laughed and said
" you must be the younger sister that was taken away for six years right?"
" yes, what's your point exactly?"
He then chuckled and said
" I just wanted to be sure. May I know your name? Let me at least know the name of the lady came into my building and challenged me "
I thought for a moment, wanting to reject his offer but then, I remembered that Neon worked for him so I changed my mind.
" okay. I'm Bella "
He walked forward a little while holding my gaze, maybe trying to intimidate me or something before he smiled and said
" Bella. I like that. The guy beside you isn't really your twin right?"
" no, he's not "
" I thought as much. Boyfriend then?"
" no!"
He then looked at me , still with a smile on his face for about a minute or less, causing the group of men to become anxious and somewhat tense before he finally said
" alright then Bella, we'll see again soon."
Then he turned to the group of men and said
" let's go "
Before I could ask what he meant, he walked out with his entourage and left. As soon as the boss reached his car, he spoke only for the ears of his entourage
" she's mine "
That statement, I and Ace didn't hear but Neon sure heard it loud and clear.
Third person's POV:
Neon waited with the men until their boss got into the car and left. He knew that the statement his boss made was a clear indication that he had taken an interest in his sister and that was not good. Of all the people he wanted his sister to stay away from, his boss was the second on the list and knowing his boss has an interest in her makes it very bad. If only she had stayed and waited for him in the waiting room!! When he walked towards Bella and Ace, they both put their heads down, knowing fully well that they had committed a grave offense.
" where did you two go to?! Didn't I ask you both both to wait at the waiting room?!"
" we... we're just wanted to explore around a little. We're sorry "
The last words came out as a whisper, causing Neon to swallow back all the scoldings he had prepared in advance for them both. Yep! She just used emotional blackmail and guess what? It worked! So, instead of scolding them, he gave them the silent treatment until they got to a spacious bungalow that looked quite luxurious. Neon told them that his boss provided them with the house since they're staying in country Z. Well, that was a lie. This was where Neon stays whenever he comes here for business.
Meanwhile, the car which the boss entered was headed to another building for another meeting.
" Zayn,I need every information concerning Bella, Neon's sister "
" but sir, I heard that she was taken to the organization "
As soon as his assistant said 'organization' , his mood changed drastically. Here's the thing, this guy in a hoodie wasn't the main boss. He was assigned by the main boss to handle matters in this country until his return. He has other people in other countries also, kept in charge of business until his return. For this country, Stephen is the boss. He dresses as a carefree guy but he is ruthless when it comes to business, that is why no one ever complains about his dress code. And when he is disrespected, the person will prefer hell to whatever he will sentence the culprit. That was why when Bella was speaking harshly to him, his entourage were giving her a pleading look to stop her before he took it personal. So when he made the statement, stating Bella to be his', Neon and the entourage were quite surprised. Well, he made that statement before he knew she was taken to the organization.
