When the battle started, I saw that the vessel that I was in had a massive barrier that was made from a dark green surrounding us like a protective battier.
"Barrier raised and stabilized at ninety percent strength". A female voice said from behind me.
"Let the weak and pathetic Terrans try to siege our world. It does not matter how hard they try to break through. I will remind you that not a single fleet that has tried to break through has succeeded in over 2000 years. It will be an impossible task for such a technologically inferior species that has men in charge to win". The princess said to me as she looked out and saw all the carnage that was unfolding outside of the vessel.
During the four years of study that I had just completed I had read some files on a mana core that converted the natural mana of the pilot into elemental fluid that can make the shots that were fired from the ship turn into a concentrated burst of any selected element.
Because of this recent advancement in technology, the Terrans might pull off a victory with some luck from our gods.
As I looked out at the active battle that unfolding around me, I saw small red, blue, and green explosions erupt. The green explosions were the sight of one of The Vordonian fighters exploding due to the Terrans doing enough damage to break through the hull and hit one of the key systems on the enemy ship successfully. When I spotted a red explosion that meant that an engine on one of the Terran fighters was shot at. The sight of a blue explosion meant that the destruction of the mana core that was in the rear of the fighters was the reason behind the ship explosion.
I was able to see that the Terrans were breaking through the Vordonian fleet and that they were focusing most of their attack power toward the ship that I was in. Did this mean that they had put together this massive to kill the Vordonian princess or had they come here to a very dangerous place to rescue me from my captors?
I wanted to believe that The Council of The Terran Collective would go this far to save a new healer like me because of how rare someone of my type of talent is. It is more likely that they did this to kill a very high-priority target and not to save me from my fate.
I felt an intense amount of shaking throughout the ship that caused the princess to fall on her face almost as soon as I saw the green barrier that was protecting the vessel.
"Princes, a few of the human ships have breached through our shields and entered the ship". One of the ladies on the ship said as soon as the princess got back onto her feet.
"Yes, I can tell that they have broken through our shields. Just release the Vordonian Shadow Wolves. I know that the humans will not stand a chance against them." She said in a very angry tone to the female that had given her the update.
As soon as she finished requesting that some group called The Shadow Wolves, I saw that the area that surrounded me and the Vordonian princess suddenly filled with a blue energy and then I saw that the bodies of a set of Vordonian females that slowly started to become visible as they kneeled to their princess.
These females became visible to me, and they all wore a slim full set of body armor that was tightly wrapped around their bodies. It was colored white except for the wolf symbol in their chest area, which was colored black.
"You requested our services". The female that was clearly in charge said as she opened her helmet and I saw that she had a single horn on her head that had a white base with a black tip.
"Yes, I want to exterminate the Terrans that have invaded our ship. If you find any females among them, make sure that you spare them. I want them to be sure to bring them to one of the remodeling camps."
"We will bring our enemies to their knees for the glory of the empire." The leader of the female Shadow Wolves said as she vanished from my sight.
As soon as The Shadow Wolves vanished, I felt a series of intense vibrations go throughout the ship. This told me that the Terrans had brought more people on this ship to kill her.
It did not take very long after the ships had boarded for me to hear the people outside of the bridge starting to scream.
"Princess, what are your orders?" I heard one of the females say to her while she was clearly in a panic at what was going on at the other side of the door that was separating the Terrans from her.
I saw that the princess was not responding to the Vordonian, who was yelling at her.
"Do you know the true meaning of fear Princess?" I said to her as I rose to my feet. "On the other side of that door, there is a group of Terrans that are here to end your miserable hide."
I saw that she started to sweat out of fear, and as the door was broken through, I was amazed by the level of dread that she had the willingness to display even in front of her people.
As the Terrans entered the room I saw that the Vordonians all fell to their knees in a posture of surrender.
The Terrans had a variety of ranged and melee weapons that had an elemental edge to them. As they sounded her, I saw that they all had armor that had the symbol of The House of Lupus on it.
Did this possibly mean that they had come here to save me since I had been chosen to be a healer of The House of Lupus.
One of the Terrans bonded the princess and moved her out of the bridge.
"Are you supposed the Danny of The Healer Caste that was recently chosen by our lord and master Ryger Lupus?" the female human who was clearly in charge of this group of soldiers asked me.
"Yes, that is me". I told her.
"Well, we have someone that is waiting for you on our ship. After we arrive in the world where you will be living, we will need you to register with us. Then you can begin a life of high importance to our race.
The group of soldiers started killing each member of the ship's crew, and as they did this the lady in charge guided me through the ship.
I stepped over all the bodies that were in between me and my salvation. As I did, the only thought that I had was that I was happy not to have died in this battle.
The vessel that I boarded was quite small and it quickly detached from the side of the ship. It navigated through the active battle dodging the blasts that happened around me. It felt safe as soon as the ship entered the main Terran ship that was staying a decent distance away from the battle area.
As I walked out of the ship I saw Nova, and I knew that I was safe around someone who loved me. I was not able in this struggle to survive this war. I will do whatever I can to secure victory for our race.
