My heart was racing as I read the message again. "We know what you're planning. Meet us at the old warehouse at midnight if you want to see Liam again." I felt a chill run down my spine. How did they know our plan? And what did they want with Liam?
Damian's face was set in a determined expression. "We'll go," he said. "We have to know what they want."
I nodded, trying to push aside my fear. "But we can't go alone. We need to gather our allies and come up with a plan."
Damian pulled out his phone. "I'll call Sarah," he said.
But as he dialed her number, I felt a sense of unease. Something didn't feel right.
"Damian, I don't think we should trust Sarah," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
Damian's expression was questioning. "What do you mean? She's been helping us from the beginning."
But I just shook my head. "I don't know, it's just a feeling I have."
