"I'm going to completely annihilate every single one of those disgusting nobles."
The young woman looked at Tre hesitantly, not expecting such heavy words to come out of mouth.
Any doubt that the man in front of her may have been a spy of some sort was relinquished.
'Even if it would further their goals, no one in this country would even think about uttering those words, even in the safety of their own home. Yet, he said it with no hesitation, and in public ears no less..'
The young woman gestured towards the room she had her back towards during this interaction with a dark look on her face.
"Come inside. Don't say such things out in this hallway, fool."
As Tre took a step, she held out her hand for a moment.
"Don't forget to grab my sword on the way in."
The silver gladius sat on the other end of the hallway, resting on the wall parallel to the wall hosting all the doors that most likely lead to other clubs.
"You tried to kill me with it, you get it."
...
"That's fair."

After the young man had grabbed her sword, they both headed inside the club room. It wasn't a laboratory like Tre was expecting. It was more akin to a living space. Candles were lit on wooden shelves that rested on each of the four walls, with two couches that sat opposite eachother, separated by a wooden square table, it's length spanning from the edges of the couch, but being about half it's size in width.
Hanging on the walls were paintings of the ocean, all of different styles, with some missing the signature that usually resided on the corner of the piece.
The young woman sat on one of the couches, resting her arms on the headpiece of the other seats.
"Sit. I wanna talk to you about a few things. Or, more specifically, I want to know what is up with you."
Tre sat down on the couch opposite the club leader, before asking a question of his own.
"Alright. Answer my question first, though, I think I've said a lot as is. You haven't even told me your name yet. Usually nobles don't want to challenge other nobles, let alone be complacent with someone who wishes to get rid of them as a whole. How did you get interested in science, and do you wish to get rid of the this countr- no, this world's system? I'm sure you're living well off at the moment. Or, atleast were before founding the science club."
The young woman thought for a moment, thinking of a sufficient answer.
"Alright. I'll tell you a bit about myself. My full name is Epanástasi Eirini Symmórfosi, just call me Eirini. I'm from the Symmórfosi family, and they're.. well known for being the King's dogs. There's really no other way I can put it. I learnt about bits of science from a wanderer when I was younger, as I was allowed to roam freely across the city of Verus, the Symmórfosi's land. They must have recognised me, since they called me by name. They were vague though, and let me know that if I wish to know more, I would have to seek it out. When I had asked my father and mother about it.. the look they had on their faces was permanently burned into my mind. Pure mortification. As if they had.. raised a defective child. Just from showing an interest in it.. they had never treated me the same since. They sent me here as an afterthought, focusing all their attention on their second-born child, my brother."
Tre wore a dark face from hearing this. A noble, one who even had an estate to their families name.. and it all fell apart just from a mere interest?
'That's ridiculous..'
Eirini quickly lightened up, loosening her posture, curling her lips upwards to appear care-free.
"That's my boring old story. Nothing crazy. But you.. you're fighting style is unique. And the fact that you didn't use ki during our little scuffle there.. to be honest, I was trying to sense your ki during that, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't. The moment I noticed I couldn't sense your ki, I tried to kill you in a single strike and decapitate you. I had thought your ki was too immense for me to sense. As we fought though, I could tell that you weren't using ki. Yet you were keeping up with me. I didn't want to admit it, but you're fighting technique is leagues above mine. And even if I did manage to hit you, I doubt it would have done much. You're strong. Truly. How did you get so strong? And.. why are you here? At this school? Wouldn't you have a better chance at achieving your goals somewhere else? Why here of all places..?"
Tre digested all of these words and thought about it. Why am I here? Well.. because he didn't want to let Lloyd down. He had given up so much just to see him live a normal life. He wouldn't want him to start plotting against nobles within this school. Tre just didn't want to let him down.
"Alright. I see where you're coming from, but Eirini, listen. If you had hit me once with that blade, I would have died. I'm not some superhuman with ki enhancing every part of my body. At the moment, I'm just as durable as anyone else. I'm a normal human. And secondly.. I'm not here for any grandiose reason, nor am I even here for my own goal of overthrowing this damned country. I'm just here.. to make true to my promise."
Tre stood up, glancing at Eirini's steel gladius resting on the tip of it's blade inside it's sheath on the wall, the at the young woman herself.
"You want to know how I can fight so well? Come with me. I'll show you."
It's been about an hour since Tre had left the training hall. If he was right.. word must have spread around already.
"Wait! I'm not done with my questions yet. The professor you met before; why did he just let you go despite you not being in uniform? The uniforms here represent honor and royalty- what did you guys talk about? Not wearing the uniform is like insulting the idea of royalty itself."
Tre threw his hands in his pockets, heading towards the door.
"I'll tell you later. This is a time-sensitive thing, you know? Come on, let's go."
Eirini rolled her eyes, before grabbing her sword and heading out with the young man, making sure to close and lock the door behind her.
"Where exactly are we going?"
Tre looked back at her, giving a slight smirk.
"Just sightseeing. Maybe encountering a few nobles on the way. I made a bit of a scene before at the training hall, so I assume some nobles won't be too happy with that."
Heading out of the building, a few eyes were glued to the young man, some of confusion, probably about the uniform- or lack thereof. And of course.. some of anger.
It didn't take long to find trouble.
