I woke up to Priscoll's urgent voice
"Joanna, wake up! Wake up! You promised to take me to the company today, I want to see how my company is."
I rubbed my eyes, still trying to shake off the sleep. Priscoll's enthusiasm was infectious, but it was also a bit overwhelming.
"Okay, okay, I'm up," I said, throwing off the covers.
As we got ready to leave, Priscoll's excitement only grew. He was like a kid on Christmas morning, barely able to contain his eagerness. I couldn't help but smile at his antics.
But as we were getting ready, Priscoll's clumsiness became apparent. He spilled coffee on his shirt, tripped over his own feet, and struggled to tie his tie. I couldn't help but laugh at his misadventures.
"Priscoll, you're going to be late for your first day back at the company," I said, trying to hide my amusement.
Priscoll looked at me with a sheepish grin. "I'm sorry, Joanna. I'm just a bit nervous."
