Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Reincarnation

Author's Note: This is My Hero Academia fanfiction inspired by another fanfiction called "Reincarnated Hero" by KingKumacchi from fanfiction.net. If you see this, I hope you don't mind me building on your work. It will be similar to the original fanfiction until the Sports Festival, then it's going to be all me. PS, I'm gonna use The name of the main character and his family and the one dragon blade girl

———————————————————The sky was a dull shade of gray, mirroring the heaviness in the air. Raindrops began to fall, lightly at first, then harder, as if the heavens were weeping. Alex lay on the cold pavement, his breathing shallow and labored. The accident had happened so fast—one moment he was crossing the street, and the next, the screeching tires and the blinding headlights were all he knew.

Pain radiated through his body, each breath a struggle. He tried to focus on something, anything, to keep his mind off the agony. The faces of his family and friends flashed before his eyes, memories of laughter and love flooding his mind. He could hear the distant wail of sirens, but they seemed so far away.

"Help is coming," a stranger's voice reassured him, but Alex knew. Deep down, he knew. His vision blurred as the rain mingled with the tears on his cheeks. He felt a warmth in his chest, a strange comfort in the midst of the cold. He was scared, but there was also a sense of peace washing over him.

He thought of his mother, her gentle smile and the way she hugged him every morning before school. He thought of his friends, the endless adventures and dreams they shared. Regret tugged at his heart for the things he would never say, the dreams he would never chase.

With a final, labored breath, Alex looked up at the sky, now just a swirl of gray. "I'm sorry," he whispered, though he wasn't sure to whom. Maybe to his family, maybe to himself, for all the things left undone. His eyelids grew heavy, and as he let them close, a sense of calm embraced him.

The sirens grew louder, but they were just a distant echo now. Alex's pain faded, replaced by a profound stillness. The world continued to rush around him, but for him, time had gently come to a halt.

And then, there was silence.

---

"What the fuck?" Alex woke up screaming, looking around in a dark, unfamiliar space. "What happened to me?"

"You woke up," a voice replied from the shadows.

"Who's there?" Alex demanded, his heart racing. "What the hell do you mean, 'It doesn't matter'? I just got hit by a car. What the fuck is going on?"

"You literally just said it," the voice said, cold and matter-of-fact. "You're dead."

Alex's mind reeled. The memories of the accident flooded back—the blinding headlights, the screeching tires, the pain. "No, this can't be happening," he muttered, trying to make sense of it all. "I can't be dead."

"Accept it," the voice insisted. "It's the only way forward."

Alex's breaths came in ragged gasps. He felt a chill that had nothing to do with the dark space around him. "What happens now?" he asked, his voice trembling.

"Now," the voice said, softening slightly, "you move on."

"Move on to what?" Alex's voice cracked. "I didn't get to say goodbye. I didn't get to finish—"

"Life is full of unfinished business," the voice interrupted gently. "But your time there is over. It's time to go."

The darkness seemed to close in around Alex, but there was a strange comfort in the voice's certainty. He took a deep breath, or what felt like one, and closed his eyes.

"Okay," he whispered. "I'm ready."

A minute passed, then two. "Hmm, what the hell is going on? Why am I not passing on?"

"What do you mean?" the voice asked.

"I mean, you said I need to go because I'm dead and moving to the afterlife

"Oh yeah, I didn't explain that part to you. Sorry. Anyway, you're not passing on because you're going to be reincarnated."

"Ha, wait, wait, wait. Do you mean like fantasy reincarnation?"

"Yes, pretty much."

"That's amazing! Then I'm glad if that's the case. Anyway, where am I going to reincarnate?"

"Well, actually, you get to decide where to be reincarnated."

"Wait, what? That's never happened in the fantasy stories I've seen."

"This isn't a fantasy story. You can actually decide if you want to come back in the normal world or a fantasy one."

"Okay, the choice is obvious. But which fantasy?"

"You can decide on any fantasy world you've ever read or seen."

"Any fantasy world? If I chose One Piece, I think I'd be a good pirate, but that world is way too messed up for me. I think I'll go with something like My Hero Academia. Wait, if I choose My Hero Academia, is there a chance I'll end up quirkless?"

"No, actually. You'll get to choose from a list of four quirks if you choose My Hero Academia."

"Okay, then. I'm going to choose MHA."

"Alright then, here is your quirk list:

**Quirk: Elemental Dragon**

Type: Mutant

This Quirk grants you dragon-like features such as scales and partial elemental control. Upon full transformation into a dragon, you gain a significant power boost and complete control over the elements."

"Ha, Elemental Dragon sounds nice, but there are some issues that honestly make this quirk undesirable for me. For starters, the mutation and having dragon features are a big problem. I'm still from a normal world, after all. I can tolerate seeing someone like that, but seeing myself like that is different. Secondly, needing to transform into a dragon to use my full power is a downside. Depending on the terrain, this might not be an option. Next."

**Quirk: Oni**

Type: Mutant

This quirk grants the user the immense strength of an oni. The mutation results in a naturally muscular and tall physique, complete with horns. Additionally, the user can manifest fire and lightning from an internal energy source and possesses a healing ability that allows recovery from any injury, provided they are not killed outright.

**Downside**: The user will have a large appetite and, if unable to control their strength, may inadvertently harm people and destroy objects around them.

"Wow, this is by far the best ability I've ever seen, even in the anime. It's strong and versatile, and the downsides are honestly not that bad. No matter what type of injury I get, I will be fine if I don't get killed outright—I'll just come back. This quirk is amazing, but first, I have to see the last two."

**Quirk: Magic Eyes**

Type: Emitter

This ability grants the user telekinesis, teleportation, and the ability to summon shadow creatures with skeletal heads to assist in battle. When activated, the user's eyes turn black and the irises glow. If the iris color is black, it will glow a random color.

**Downside**: The use of this ability for a long time causes temporary blindness, and Using it to the extreme for a long time can lead to concussions or minor brain damage.

"This ability is also amazing—telekinesis, teleportation, summoning shadow creatures—it's all incredible. But the downsides are terrifying: concussions and minor brain damage. Why are the downsides of this ability so much more extreme compared to the others? Let's see the last one."

**Quirk: Armory**

Type: Transformation

This ability turns the user into a living weapon. You can transform any part of your body into a weapon—a sword, a gun, anything you can think of.

**Downside**: You need to be knowledgeable about the weapon you're using. If you're not, the weapon will become weaker.

"Armory, I can't use this. I was just an average 15-year-old, I'm not that knowledgeable about weapons. Also, 'anything you can think of' probably means that I'm limited to normal weapons. If I used something extreme like a nuke, it would cause too much damage. This quirk is definitely out."

This is way too hard. All four of these quirks are incredible, and I can only choose one.

**Elemental Dragon**: It's good for defense, offense, and mid-range, but needing to transform to access full power is a bit of a problem. However, many arcs in MHA take place in open areas, which could be advantageous. But with a furious determination, there's a specific goal I have in mind that will take place in a small area when I reach that point in MHA. That person will suffer.

"What should I choose?"

"You know, if you want, I can give you two quirks."

"What? Seriously? You're going to give me two quirks?"

"Yes, I honestly don't mind. But only two. Don't be greedy."

thank you! Thank you very much. In that case, I will choose Oni and Magic Eyes. Oni's healing totally fixes the downside of Magic Eyes. It's a perfect combination."

"Alright, you're almost ready to get reincarnated, but there's one more thing you need to decide. Keep in mind, this is optional."

"One more thing? What more could I need? I'm pretty much set."

"Do you want me to give you age regression?"

"Age regression? What's that?"

"When you get reincarnated, there will be some obstacles, like getting used to your parents and interacting with kids. With age regression, your mentality will match your physical age. For example, you'll love your parents like any other normal kid, even though you're aware of your past life. You'll also be able to make friends and fall in love with people around your age."

"That last part is weird considering when I reach 15 again, I will be mentally 30. But that doesn't matter. Are there any other advantages?"

"You will have an easier time learning the language and will become self-aware when you start talking."

"Well, learning the language was a concern of mine, so I'll take the age regression."

Okay, it's time for you to go now
