In a dim alley, thick snow covered the ground, telling the tale of a place long forgotten. A fleeting shadow darted by, John's boots sinking deep into the snow.

"Wait!"

Heavy, labored breathing followed, a slender figure in leather clothing, with an impressive figure, gasping for breath. Clearly, she was exhausted.

Patricia's eyes fixed on John's back, her words coming out in quick bursts.

"Why did you kill those people?"

"Kill? Their bodies reeked of blood, their very being exuded evil. Death is a mercy to them," a deep, resonant voice echoed in the alley.

John stared into the darkness, not turning around, aware of the woman's powerful heartbeat. It was different from what he had encountered before—steady yet strong.

Quickly recalling from his past life the various superheroes or supervillains, John thought of a figure... but this person's appearance and physique didn't match!

Long ago, seeing Bruce Wayne's unfamiliar appearance in the newspapers, John realized this world was vastly different from what he had seen before. This world was filled with many superhumans, and events unfolded in unexpected ways. So, he decided not to interfere too much in this world.

Though it seemed like he had crossed into a comic book world, John felt he had only entered a world similar to it, perhaps a parallel universe—one much more chaotic, without clear lines between good and evil!

"Killing won't solve everything!" Patricia's voice, soft yet firm, echoed, carrying a hint of persuasion.

John's eyes flickered, but her words did not sway his resolve. He was not inherently bloodthirsty, but if killing could quickly accumulate energy to traverse the dimensional world, he found it acceptable to taint his hands with the blood of the guilty.

"What do you plan to do with those girls?"

As if hearing their conversation, three huddled girls slowly emerged from the darkness, their eyes filled with gratitude and fear, looking at the masked man with a mix of emotions.

"They're yours now," John said. As his words fell, his figure vanished into the night before Patricia could react.

Her extraordinary dynamic vision allowed Patricia to follow John's every move, unlike ordinary people who saw only residual shadows.

Knowing she couldn't catch up, Patricia gave up. Watching him disappear into the night, she silently vowed, "One day, I will uncover your identity."

Turning to the three huddled girls, her eyes softened with compassion.

As everyone left the alley, hours later, several police cars drove through the dark streets.

Inside a large police van, officers operated computers, connecting to nearby surveillance cameras through the internal network.

George's eyes were fixed on the screen, showing different angles and locations.

"No idea who the second person is, but they seem to be tracking the Judge," the older detective said, his eyes filled with curiosity, pointing at the slim figure on the screen. The mysterious person seemed to be chasing the Judge.

George looked at the footage of Patricia leaving with the three girls, quickly pinpointing their destination.

As police cars sped off, they arrived at a newly opened café. Officers quickly surrounded the place.

Breaking through the café door, George, with his gun drawn, pointed at the people inside.

"Ah!"

Amidst the rising screams, his eyes swiftly scanned the terrified faces.

"What's happening, officer?" an elderly woman, trembling, stepped forward, puzzled.

"Searching for a fugitive. Please cooperate!" George indicated, and soon officers rushed through the café's interior. In a second-floor restroom, they found an open window.

"Damn it!" The officers returned to the main area, dejected.

George was comforting three huddled girls in the café's corner.

"Did you see the faces of those two people?" he asked.

Seeing them frantically shaking their heads, their faces pale with fear, George felt helpless.

Soon, the girls were taken back to the police station for a brief statement amidst their parents' angry shouts.

"What are they doing? Go catch criminals instead of targeting our savior!"

"Yes, exactly! If the Gotham police really worked for us taxpayers, this place wouldn't be so chaotic!"

"My poor daughter, I almost lost her. Thank you, Judge!"

"Damn you!"

Only after they left did peace return to the station. Everyone looked grim. They had been tracking the crimes of the blonde and his gang but hadn't expected the Judge to act first.

Now, they were the ones being scolded!

"Boss, let's stop going after the Judge. He seems more terrifying than Batman. Look at those guys in the central district; they've already turned a blind eye," said the officer who had tried to block John outside the factory, still feeling the fear of confronting a superhuman.

"Do you think that guy is like Batman?" George snapped, his eyes glued to the screen. He had watched the footage of John saving the three girls and killing the gang three times.

Clap! Clap! Clap!

Clear applause echoed in the station. To the officers' surprise, their boss was welcoming a man in a white suit and silver hair, smiling broadly.

The man, smiling and clapping, said, "Our East District Police are diligent. It's still early, and everyone is already at their posts."

"Allen Greyson?"

Seeing the familiar face, George stood up abruptly, his expression stern, and walked towards the man.

"What are you doing, George?" Leon, with a stern look, blocked George's path.
