Chapter 30 - Chapter 29

The scene fell into complete silence. Everyone was stunned, staring at John, who had appeared before the four criminals.

His black robe fluttered as his fists moved like lightning. In the blink of an eye, John retracted his punches, standing still and looking around at the police officers and criminals watching him.

Thud! The sound of four bodies hitting the ground broke the tense silence.

"Fuck!"

The closest criminal to John reacted first. In an instant, he pulled the trigger, his gun spitting fire as he sprayed bullets at where John had been standing.

But the next moment, a blur appeared to his right. John delivered a powerful punch to his side, sending him flying. Before the man could hit the ground, John's foot lashed out, smashing into his chest.

The burly man, standing six feet tall, flew through the air, crashing into the criminals behind him.

"Oh, my God!"

The officer was dumbfounded, as was George. None of the criminals cared about shooting at the police; all their fire was concentrated on John.

From their perspective, these vicious criminals' arrogant laughter turned into terrified screams. Bullets flew wildly, but John's silhouette darted among them, toppling enemies like a wolf among sheep.

Blood sprayed across the already dirty walls of the police station. Bodies flew, and the black-robed figure seemed unstoppable.

A criminal landed next to the black officer with a thud, startling him. He quickly raised his gun but was stopped by George. They both stared at the unconscious man with a face disfigured by burns and a caved-in chest.

The officer gasped in terror. The fear he felt now far exceeded what he had felt under the terrorists' gunfire.

The gunfire gradually ceased. John stood among the bodies, his gaze fixed on the man glaring back at him.

The monkey mask man's mask was splattered with blood. He grinned, showing no remorse for his fallen comrades.

"Look at your deadly moves, Judge. I'd say you're more ruthless than any criminal!"

John tilted his head, puzzled by why the man hadn't attacked yet.

"Interested in joining the Masked Society?"

The monkey mask man's eyes twinkled as he spoke, his tone light and smiling.

"Masked Society? What's that?"

John looked thoughtful, but in the next moment, a figure leaped at him with lightning speed, delivering an uppercut to his chin.

Bang! "Watch out, Judge!"

A police officer shouted too late. The monkey mask man's lips curled into a wide grin, eyes gleaming with excitement as he landed a powerful uppercut, sending John flying.

But before John could react, the man's fist was already aimed at his chest.

Bang! The smile froze on the man's face. He stared at John, who had caught his punch with one hand.

"Not bad power... but not enough."

John's calm voice echoed in the station. In the police's cheers and the criminals' shock, John's foot lashed out, slamming into the man's abdomen. The monkey mask man's face twisted in pain, his hand instinctively clutching his stomach.

But his expression quickly changed to horror. The force of John's kick sent him flying.

John's silhouette blurred, reappearing before the man, delivering another kick. The man tried to block, but John's relentless punches forced him to dodge awkwardly.

"Interesting!"

John's excitement grew, but the man's face turned more fearful. He could only dodge, unable to counterattack.

In a momentary lull, the man saw an opening and threw a punch at John's face.

John tilted his head slightly, smirking. His uppercut smashed into the man's chin, breaking his jaw.

Bang! The sound of bones breaking echoed. Blood and teeth flew as the man staggered, dazed.

John's punch had done far more damage than the man's previous attack.

Thud! A final kick drove the man into the ground.

Spitting blood, the monkey mask man's face showed true fear. He stared at John, who stood with one foot on his chest.

"Fuck, you monster!"

Bang! The ground beneath the man cracked, his chest caving in. His eyes dimmed, and his heartbeat stopped.

The police station fell silent. Everyone stared in fear at John, standing over the man's body.

The black robe fluttered in the cold wind, the mask revealing only deep eyes. John said nothing, but the silence spoke volumes.

Thud! A man in a fly mask dropped to his knees, trembling. He had never been so scared, not even when fighting Batman.

This was a moment of pure terror.

John's eyes scanned the remaining criminals before turning to the police, meeting George's familiar face.

George's eyes lit up, and he quickly ordered the officers to cuff the surrendering criminals.

John glanced outside. Reporters and onlookers had gathered. He leaped upstairs, then out a window, disappearing into an alley, leaving the crowd behind.
