THE DUNGEON
Gabrielle's sharp foot steps could be heard in the dungeon grounds,she checked each cell, and she exhaled when she finally found the right one.
"My princess, you promised nothing will happen to me or my family, they're threatening to kill my family" the servant cried in desperation holding tightly onto the iron bars. Gabrielle scrunched her nose in disgust, the pungent smell of blood and urine coming from the servant is so thick.
"Hope you didn't mention my involvement in all these"
"Yes princess I've did as you instructed"
"I see….",she drawled giving him a long stare, he was unrecognizable bruised beaten and battered.
"I have only one solution right now" she said looking left and right before bringing out a small bottle containing a dark liquid.
"Have this"
"What is this my princess"
"Its poison, drink it before dawn," the servants eyes widened when he heard this.
"Drink it, this is the only way you can save your family"
"And don't you think of mentioning my name,accusing a royal blood of a crime am not guilty of is treason. your family will die in the most humiliating way ever"
"This is not what you promised"
The servant cried, he can't believe what's happening right now .
"Just a quick reminder, I don't keep promises, be wise" she smirked and walked out of the dungeon leaving the servants In chaos.
Calypso laughed at the joke, xerox cracked, he's so funny,she accepted his friendship, and she's loving it already,he's so gentle, so funny ,and she feel comfortable around him like she's known him for ages.
Xerox also saw a different side of calypso, he remembered Alfred telling him how stone cold and emotionless and expressionless she is, but right now, he could see her smiling slightly and laughing lightly, its a great change, and he plan on changing everything about her.
"Something look different about you today,I just can't point my finger at it" said calypso holding her chin in a thoughtful way, suddenly a lightbulb appeared on her head.
"Your hair, it looks different, she pointed out"
"Yeah, I just decided to try something new, am tired of brown, so I said why not try something new and you came to my mind, so I colored my hair white, just like yours" said xerox with a satisfied grin.
"Wow, it looks good on you though"
"Yeah you're my muse" he smirked
Making a little red appear on her cheeks.
"Ummm,ahh,lord xerox, hmm hope this is ahh only friendship right?" She said with a very nervous look, gesturing between him and her.
xerox gave her a hard piercing stare making her more nervous.
He burst into a pile of laughter, making her confused .
"Oh my gosh caly, have you seen your face, you're so funny" he laughed and took her hands in his turning serious this time around.
"Caly, am not courting you if that's what you're thinking, you're like a little sister to me"
Hearing that made her smile.
"Buttt,,,,,,I'll be the one to decide who you'll marry" he joked.

"Bad news, bad news!, calypso kept muttering, going to and fro,chewing her fingers in worry,a habit she developed long ago, she's been trying to stop, but she just can't help it.
The bad news is their grandmother, the kings mother made an unannounced visit to the palace,and from the looks of things, she'll be staying for long, cause she came with her luggage, that shouldn't be a bad news now,should it?
But the kings mother is a devil in disguise she supports the queen and Gabrielle in abusing calypso, she even joins them sometimes, but in the presence of the king and crown prince she acts like,she loves calypso so much.
"My lady,its time for dinner" her new lady in waiting called
'oh gosh' "am coming" she whisper yelled.
The moment calypso got to the dinning room, her grandmother squealed with glee and excitement, she even went to the extent of standing up and engulfing calypso in a tight hug.
"Oh my little Cally, how are you, look how you've grown…" She smiled giving Calypso's cheek a pinch,from peoples view, it might seem like a light harmless pinch, but only she knows how hard and painful that pinch is.
"Grandma, welcome " she greeted,
"That's my child, sit, sit, let the feast begin"
Calypso sat gingerly beside Alfred, earning a glare from 3 pairs of eyes.
"How re u feeling now dear" the king asked calypso.
"Better" she smiled.
His actions are really confusing. days ago, he doesn't care even if she dies. but since that incident, he's been acting really out of character,all loving, caring father facade.
The dinner was finally over, the maids were serving the desert, when the king called on everyone's attention.
"Well everyone,I have good news-"
"Really dad, tell us" said Gabrielle cutting him off.
"And also bad news" he finished.
"Start with the bad news dear" said the queen
"the servant who poisoned calypso,was discovers dead this morning, he committed suicide" the king said with a sigh.
Gabrielle smirked her heart dancing in excitement.
"Oh no, that's really terrible news" said Gabrielle faking a worried look.
Calypso smiled sadly knowing fully well,who the real culprit is, but no one will believe her.
"Don't worry calypso we'll get to the bottom of this" Alfred assured.
"So what's the good news?"
Asked Alfred.
"Well lord Kai brought in a marriage proposal for one of the princesses" the king announced with a broad smile.
Gabrielle's eyes widened and she squealed in excitement.
"Oh my gosh, father this is great news" she shrieked.
"Wow!" exclaimed their grandmother.
The queen gave Gabrielle a proud look.
She knew her daughter will make her proud.
Gabrielle was feeling over the moon, no wonder he danced with her on her birthday soiree, oh! Lord Kai is her dream man, she can't believe he also sees her as a potential bride.
"Yes, I was also shocked with the news,lord Kai shows his immense interest in the third princess and would love to marry calypso as soon as possible" the king deadpanned. making everybody freeze.
"WHAT!?"
They all chorused in shock.
