Pranee rode side by side with her brother,wondering how to start a conversation with him.since the ordeal 15 years back,their sibling bond is now strained,she finds him intimidating and hard to talk to.
Neil noticed Pranee wanted to talk to him,so he decided to start the conversation.
"What do you plan on hunting down today Pranee?"
Pranee gasped in surprise,she didn't expect that he would talk to her.
"Well, anything that's huge and juicy,I would love a big wild boar." She smiled,her heart was bubbling from the excitement that Neil spoke to her first,she couldn't wait to tell her mother.
"What about you brother what do you plan on hunting down"
"Well a warm juicy blood"
"No human in his right senses would be roaming in the forest in this season brother." She chuckled.
"It mustn't be human," he smirked.
Duncan, who was riding a little distance behind them, could hear their little chats;he wished they could go back to how they were before.
His eyes went to the Couple riding meters in front of them,he wonder why the king even invited them for the hunting session.he can't help but wonder how they can confidently walk around Neil with not even a pinch of remorse.
"Pranee you should accompany father and mother to hunt,I would love to hunt alone."
The smile dropped from her face when she heard him.
Is he chasing her away.
"I would just hunt alone,I don't love their company that much" she smiled with saddened eyes.
Neil turned to Duncan."accompany her,make sure she's safe" Pranee face scruntched up in disgust.
"No brother I am capable of taking care of myself"
"I know,extra safety wouldn't hurt," he added and kicked his horse making it gallop at a fast speed.Soon he was out of their sight.
Pranee rolled her eyes and ignored his presence,riding slowly into the forest.
"I wonder why he made you ride with me,am a full grown woman who can take care of my self" she complained.
"You're a grown woman with the brain of a child,mi'lady,very immature"
Pranee gasped with a dropped jaw.
She gritted her teeth,her nose flaring in anger.
She immediately got off her horse,and rushed towards Duncan,she grabbed his hands and pulled him off his horse. Duncan allowed himself to be pulled by her.left to her strength alone,she can't.
He wonder what she's up to this time,she looks really pissed off,he shouldn't have said that.
"How dare you say that to me,are you aware that I am your princess" she yelled in his face.
Her hands itchy to scratch that handsome face off but she knows it will heal immediately,so its useless.
"Am so sorry mi'lady it won't hap-"
His words were caught off with the loud cry of a werewolf that reverberated around the forest.
Pranee gasped.
"Did you hear that its a wolf" she sounded excited,her anger,easily forgotten,she immediately rushed and mounted her horse and rode off.
"Mi'lady wait!" He called but she was already far ahead.
"Always attracted to danger" he sighed and mounted his horse and rode after her.
Neil went deeper into the forest,he saw a large grown deer,he took out his crossbow and aimed at the deer.just then the loud cry of a werewolf reverberated around the forest. The deer immediately scurried off,but the Prince released his arrow at a very fast speed,the arrow went straight through the deer.
He didnt bother checking on the deer. The cry of the werewolf sounded not too far from where he was,and werewolf are bad luck to vampires,he rode his horse at a frightening speed and with his uncanny senses,he soon arrived at the spot.
He never expected what's his seeing right now.its a werewolf trying to attract a girl,who also seemed ready to fight back,from all indications the werewolf looks provoked which only means the young girl must have injured it.
The young girl was a sight to behold,and he found himself Deeply entranced,attracted to her like a magnet,the scent of her blood wafted across his nose and his gums began to itch,he cursed underneath his breath,what sort of a girl is she,this is the first lady to make him react this way.he was lost starring at her,she's so beautiful,ethereal,angelic,and stunning,her ocean eyes are very captivating,she was drenched from her head to her toe,adding to her allure.she was oblivious of his presence,her whole focus on the werewolf.there was fear in her eyes but also a hint of bravery,she was unlike any lady he's ever seen,she has that silver of innocence in her.
The way her lips parted as she took in breaths,her chest heaving up and down makes his pants tightened.
Just when the werewolf is about to lounge at her,he shot at it,the arrow going straight through its head.
The girl gasped in shock,the arrow moved at an uncanny speed that she didn't even realize an arrow was shot,she only noticed it when the werewolf fell with a thud.her eyes immediately went to figure ahead,and she gave out a small scream.
Its a vampire she knew that because of his red eyes.
She immediately crawled backwards.she gasped when her back came in contact with a tree.
Neil took slow predatory steps towards the girl,he could see the evident fear in her eyes,even greater than when facing the werewolf.
He crouched to her level and the sweet scent of honey and roses wafted across his nose,gosh.not only does her blood smell nice she has a nice scent too.
He could feel himself getting addicted to her scent,he felt like burrying his face in the crook of her neck,and sinking his fangs in her delicate neck,while he makes love to her.
Now that he's more closer,he could tell the girl was utterly beautiful.
"Mine" he muttered underneath his breath.His fingers tracing her temple leaving a trail of warmth and goosebumps on her face.
He paused his little action when he heard galloping of horses arriving,it must be the others,curious to find out what's happening.
"Wait right here for me,I'll come back and get you" came his deep voice,in a warning and commanding tone.
He got back in his feet and dragged the dead wolf to another side of the forest.
"What happened" the king asked the question on everyone's mind,when he saw Neil dragging a dead wolf.
"Well just found it trespassing in my territory,"
"it seems the wereking isn't doing enough in keeping its rougue off our territory" said the king.
The king then ordered the few guards who accompanied them to take the werewolf from the prince and dispose of it.
And they all dispersed to continue their hunting.
When Neil made sure they all left,he went back to find the girl,only to find the spot he left her at,empty.
He sighed and smirked.
Well it seems she loves the chase.he'll give her just that.
