Lin Xio entered the third floor of the S-rank dungeon.
On his journey, he was surrounded by a horde of death skeletons clad in SSR-level armor.
"If I'm not mistaken, these skeletons are immortal because they are undead," Lin Xio thought as he walked toward the skeletons.
One of the skeletons threw a spear with incredible speed, nearly hitting Lin Xio.
"Almost had to regenerate with my blood again. Thinking about it, it's disgusting," Lin Xio thought, recalling his regeneration against the demon inside Jennie.
Lin Xio stood in the middle of the skeleton horde and thought for a moment, "If I remember correctly, creatures like skeletons can be eradicated with purification."
A large circle appeared above the skeletons, surrounding them.
"Purification," Lin Xio said. Suddenly, the circle emitted a bright light with a calm aura. The skeletons vanished due to the magic.
Lin Xio smiled and laughed heartily, "Hahaha, this is so easy. Why is this dungeon called an S-rank dungeon when the enemies are so weak?"
Lin Xio walked toward the door to the fourth floor. As he was about to enter, his steps halted, and he stared at another door.
"I haven't fought a boss for two floors. Let's see how strong this boss is," he thought.
Lin Xio confidently walked to the boss door on the third floor.
When he opened the door, he was stunned by a colossal skeleton measuring 8,000 kilometers.
"Wow, this boss is huge," Lin Xio said excitedly.
"I'm like an ant compared to it."
Without a second thought, Lin Xio ran and aimed his fist at the monster.
But suddenly, the monster swung its weapon with such speed that it was invisible to Lin Xio's eyes.
Lin Xio flew through the air and crashed into a wall, breaking it.
"This is interesting, a strong monster. I like it, I like it," Lin Xio said enthusiastically as he stood up again.
Lin Xio dusted off his clothes and smiled with excitement. "Alright, let's see how strong you really are," he said, staring sharply at the giant monster.
The giant skeleton monster swung its weapon again, creating a strong wind that shook the entire dungeon. Lin Xio jumped to the side, avoiding the attack nimbly. He counterattacked, releasing a red aura from his body. "I'll show you real power."
The battle raged fiercely. Each attack from the monster created large tremors that shook the dungeon. Lin Xio used his speed and agility to dodge attacks while looking for an opening to strike. Each time he managed to get close, he delivered a powerful punch that cracked the monster's bones.
However, the skeleton monster was not easy to defeat. Each time Lin Xio landed a blow, the monster retaliated with even stronger attacks. Its giant spear almost always targeted Lin Xio precisely, forcing him to keep moving and dodging.
Time passed, and both sides began to show signs of fatigue. Lin Xio felt his muscles tighten, but he did not give up. "I can't lose here," he told himself. "I must fight to the end."
He gathered his last energy and jumped high into the air. "This is the end!" With a loud cry, Lin Xio channeled all his strength and launched his final attack at the monster's head.
The skeleton monster raised its spear, trying to deflect the attack. But Lin Xio was too close. His strike hit the monster's skull with tremendous force, creating a blinding explosion of energy.
As the dust settled, Lin Xio stood, panting. In front of him, the skeleton monster collapsed, its bones shattered into pieces. Lin Xio smiled weakly but satisfied.
However, just as Lin Xio thought the battle was over, the monster's bones began to move again, merging and forming an even bigger and more terrifying figure. "What? It can revive?" Lin Xio was astonished.
The monster now had two heads and four arms, each wielding a different weapon. "Looks like this isn't over," Lin Xio said, preparing himself.
The next battle was more brutal. Each attack from the monster became harder to avoid. Lin Xio used all the techniques he had learned over the years of training. He summoned a holy sword from another dimension, focusing sacred energy on the blade. "Holy Sword, help me!" he shouted, swinging the sword at the monster.
But the monster did not give up easily. With four arms, it could attack from multiple directions, overwhelming Lin Xio. He felt his breath growing heavier, but he couldn't give up. He remembered his hard training, his mentor who always believed in him, and the friends waiting for his return.
In the midst of despair, Lin Xio saw a weak point on the monster's body. "There!" he thought. With his last strength, he jumped high and plunged his sword right into the weak spot. Sacred energy from the sword flowed through the monster's body, destroying every bone from within.
The monster let out a final roar that echoed through the dungeon before finally collapsing into a pile of dust that could no longer rise.
Lin Xio fell to the ground, exhausted. "This was a truly tough battle," he said, gasping for air. He took a deep breath and slowly stood up, wiping the sweat from his face. "But I did it."
He looked toward the door to the next floor. "There are still many challenges ahead," he said with a faint smile. "But I'm ready to face them."
Lin Xio walked toward the boss exit door and headed to the fourth floor.
