Lin Xio returned to see Hina after completing his mission. Confused, he thought, "Have I completed three missions? Or two? I forget." He scratched his head.
Hina pointed to a large door beside the room. "Follow me," she said, then walked towards the door and opened it. Behind the door, a large tree with a beautiful view appeared.
"This is the World Tree," said Hina. "Your first mission is to obtain infinite mana to surpass the speed of the World Tree. The World Tree has a speed that transcends space and time. The laws of the world do not apply here, meaning the speed of the World Tree surpasses everything."
"The condition to obtain infinite mana is to burn the mana within yourself while simultaneously releasing your subconscious."
Hina explained that mana is similar to stamina, but mana can be used for magic while stamina cannot. After that, Hina left. "Well then, I will go. I have work to attend to," she said, walking out.
Lin Xio sat on a rock and focused on burning his mana while releasing his subconscious. After an hour, his subconscious began to leave his body along with the burning mana.
"Did it work? I'm not sure if I have obtained infinite mana," thought Lin Xio. He began to burn his mana even harder. After ten minutes, he coughed up blood because he couldn't endure it any longer. "I will strive to become stronger," he resolved.
Lin Xio's stomach began to feel excruciating pain, but he remained focused, ignoring the pain. "I must fight," he said to himself.
After five minutes of focus, Lin Xio's subconscious merged with the mana within him. Then he regained his usual consciousness. "Did it work?" he wondered.
Lin Xio was gasping for breath after the exhausting process. He stood up and felt a new power flowing within him. "Maybe this is what they meant by infinite mana," he thought. But he wasn't entirely sure.
Hina re-entered the room, this time with a curious expression. "How do you feel now?" she asked.
"I feel different, stronger, but still not entirely sure," Lin Xio replied honestly.
Hina nodded. "Good. Now, let's test your new strength. Follow me," she commanded while walking in a different direction from the room, towards a long, dark corridor. Lin Xio followed without hesitation.
They arrived at a large room filled with various tools and obstacles. In the middle of the room, there was a large statue with glowing red eyes.
"This is the Tester Statue. It will measure your new strength and abilities," explained Hina. "Get ready."
The statue started moving and suddenly attacked Lin Xio with incredible speed. Lin Xio dodged nimbly and counterattacked with his new strength. He felt his mana flowing endlessly, allowing him to move faster and stronger than before.
After a few minutes of fighting, Lin Xio managed to defeat the Tester Statue with a final blow that shattered it. He stood in the middle of the room, panting but with a satisfied smile on his face.
Hina clapped her hands. "Amazing, Lin Xio. You have obtained infinite mana. Now, we must proceed to the next mission. There is much to do and much for you to learn."
Lin Xio nodded, ready to face the next challenge. "What is the next mission?"
Hina smiled mysteriously. "The next mission is to fully master your subconscious. We will journey into your own mind, facing your deepest fears and weaknesses. Only by doing so can you truly master your power."
Lin Xio swallowed hard, feeling tense but excited. "I'm ready."
Lin Xio and Hina walked back to the World Tree and entered the room.
