The next morning, Lisa stood before a mirror, her deep hazel eyes a storm of nervousness as she swatted something invisible off her dress for the third time.
"Relax, you look perfect." Lian's smooth voice rang besides her ear as he embraced her from behind, his eyes assessing her green dress and lighting up with admiration.
"Thank you Lian but I can't help feeling that something is going to go horribly wrong today." Lisa whispered, her eyes meeting his through the mirror.
Lian sighed before he leaned in and placed a kiss on her cheek.
He knew more words on why she shouldn't worry were not going to convince her to think otherwise. Being understanding and supportive was the only way he could help to make her feel better.
"Then, I will be right here by your side in case anything happens." He smiled and Lisa turned, wrapping her arms around him and hugging him tightly.
