Leah entered a large room which was filled with people, lights and cameras from all directions.
With the help of Mr Matthew she climbed the stair due to the high heels she was wearing.
Before coming here she changed her dress and did some make-up touches.
Wearing a knee length yellow gown, a jade green necklace and high heels to match it making her look dashing.
Her make-up was done by her, simple but still brough t out her beauty.
As she walked up the stage in the eyes of everyone, the whole room became silent.
As Leah took her place behind the podium, everyone gaze was fixed on her. She cleared her throat, steeling herself for what was to come.
"Good afternoon, everyone," Leah began, her voice steady. "Thank you for being here today."
"Most of you might have heard about my scandal which has been trending on the internet. And you all might have predicted I will be coming out to defend myself and my company's reputation," Leah said with a sharp and confident gaze.
"You can begin with the questions," Leah said stretching her white hands to the crowd.
Immediately, hands shot up, voices calling out questions, eager to dissect the scandal that had thrust Leah into the spotlight. One journalist, seated in the front row, caught Leah's attention.
"Miss Leah, can you address the accusations that you broke up with Kelvin purely for financial gain?" The journalist's tone was accusatory.
Leah hesitated briefly, her brow furrowing with skepticism. "That's not true," she replied firmly. "My relationship with Kelvin ended for personal reasons that had nothing to do with money."
"But the article claimed you were more interested in your inheritance than in him. It even showed pictures of you two in a happy moment. The break up came at the nick of time when you were just assigned to CEO. How do you respond to that?" Another make journalist asked.
"Happy moment my foot," Leah said inwardly as her gaze became cold. She didn't respond for some minute almost as if she was thinking if an answer.
She remembers the event in the pictures. Most of them were she trying desperately go stick into him despite his visible resistance.
"Like I said my break up with him isn't related to any sort of inheritance," Leah squeeze the words out.
"You keep saying it but you aren't explain why it is so. This clearly feels as if you are the one guilty here," The first journalist said.
A frown settled up on Leah's face. She looked at the two journalist with a skeptical gaze. Which others were busy writing her reply and a few asking questions, their attention were focused on her. Asking her personal and uncomfortable question. This made Leah suspect, "Are they bribed?"
In Kelvin room, Kelvin looked at the unease look on Leah's face through the television with a satisfied expression.
The event at conference is been broadcast life.
"Olivia you are the best," Kelvin said as he gave Olivia who sat beside him a gentle peek.
"Of course I am, now let just watch how it goes down for her," Olivia said with a smug look on bed face.

"Speaking of guilty, you want to hear a scandal I will give you one to talk about," Leah suddenly said catching everyone attention.
They all listened, with their eyes glued to her lips. What she is going to say might bring another spark of gossip.
"The inheritance you are talking about and the perfect timing you claimed are all false. I had gotten the inheritance since the year my dad got hospitalised. He transferred all the asset to me in case something bad happened," Leah said.
Hearing this noise and question erupted in the crowd.
"Mr Matthew can you bring proof," Leah said as she turned her gaze to Mr Matthew who walked towards her.
He held a document which says boldly, transfer of ownership and the date was also magnified under the camera which records her.
Seeing this, everyone was shocked. "She already had this for years but she didn't take over the company. Doesn't that mean she isn't too interested in the company? This just cancel the accusations of power hungry," They thought.
"That not all, I am sure you guys would be wondering why I didn't take it over the years. The reason is, I am pressured by Kelvin to transfer my asset to him for strengthening his company saying it is for the benefits of both of us," Leah said.
"Mr Matthew can you bring me proof," Leah said turning his gaze to Mr Matthew who again pulled out another file from the document.
This was the file Kelvin face her to sign on the day she reincarnated.
Again there was an uproar, the journalist there quickly begin typing the hot news.
"And that not all, I hereby confirm that the person who caused the article was no one else but Kelvin Parker," Leah said.
The first journalist raised his hands which Leah calmed accepted.
"But all these still doesn't point that Mr Kelvin was the one who caused the Scandal," he said.
"Oh, I also have evidence for that," Leah said cutting him short.
"Mr Matthew," Leah said as she turned towards him.
The way they behave was almost as if it was rehearsed. Delivering at the perfect timing and putting the crowd in shock.
Soon the voice call between Leah and Kelvin started to play. Everyone became quiet not to miss any detail between the conversation.
Soon, they hear the taunting and the mocking voice of Kelvin and the calm tone of Leah.
"You can see, even till the end he kept asking for my share in my company. Isn't this enough proof that he is the cause of the article?" Leah asked looking at the two suspicious journalist with a cold gaze.
"My Lawyer would take legal action for bad mouthing my company and tainting it's reputation," Leah said as she took Mr Matthew hands and walked down the stage while everyone was busy keeping tab on the shocking turn of event.
*****Kelvin's Room*****
"No, this is bad. How did she do that?" What are we going to do now," Kelvin asked as he looked Olivia who had a deep frown on her face.
She also seemed to be deep in thoughts.
"This stupid guy, doesn't he realise it done. Leah has all the evidence against them the only thing they can do is to wait for legal actions against them," Olivia thought as he face twisted in anger
